Jasonmcclure4848 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Hello all, I posted in this forum before about this problem. Anytime I start launchbox I get the following error and then it crashes. Someone was nice enough to tell me that it has something to do with some games that I installed that didn't install correctly. I have tried to figure out how to fix it, I have reinstalled all the games, I even messaged all of the staff indivually, as well as sent in a report, but I haven't received any replies back. I am desperate to get Launchbox working correctly, but I don't know anything about it, and I don't have a clue where to begin. Can someone please help me solve this problem. C-Beats Posted September 24 Posted September 24 This appears to be an issue that should be resolved in the latest beta release. You could opt into those via the Options window inside of LB and grab the latest version and see if that corrects this for you. Quote

Jasonmcclure4848 Posted September 25 Author Posted September 25 It is a little different, but basically the same. When I open launchbox it comes up fine and is fine for a few minutes, and then at the top of the screen it says saving games, that is when I get the message and it crashes. Quote
C-Beats Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Ah looking at the stacktrace that isn't the same one as the one we touched in beta release. I'll have to dig into that one. Sounds like the reason is likely the same for both so fixing it should be fairly straight forward. Quote

Mogrimor Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Hi I'm having trouble with Launchbox and Big Box frequently crashing. There are no error pages as shown above, it just exits the application abruptly. I tried going to my backup folder and copying the earliest extracted backup folder into my data folder and this did not help. The backup folder only goes back 3 days and I feel like the crashes have been happening longer than that so I don't have a reliable backup. Please help. Quote
