New LB install, but migrated save states will load and save in game, but not show up as a load saved game option.

Kind of a long title, apologies. 

I setup LB/BB on my htpc today and migrated over a Genesis saved state from my laptop. When I launch that game, F4 does load the state fine, and then in game I do a save, then exit the game but when I then launch the game again, I was surpised to see that I did not have the in game option to load that save. 

Any suggestions?

hmm, I think there is something wrong with that save. It crashes when I try to cast a spell in combat (D&D:WOTES) with that saved state but does not if I start a new game with default party to test.
