Jigen271 Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM Posted Saturday at 11:32 PM Hey folks! I absolutely LOVE launch box and big box. I recently had a horrible problem. I've been working on translating all the game information and game titles into Japanese. I was finished with most of my systems. (Except for Wii, WiiU and MAME as they have too many titles. I will get to them eventually) I had also scanned the boxes, cartridges and disks from my complete Famicom, GameCube, Virtual Boy, and almost complete Gameboy DMG and Super Famicom collection. I edited, cropped and made some pretty cool .png carts for FC and SFC. I lost them all. I was in the process of backing up my Launch box folder with ALL my changes when the PC suddenly shut down and would not restart. Long story, short? (Too late, I know, I know) the m.2 SDD is pushing up the daises. Back-up you ask? I had backed up all my material on an m.2 SSD drive which I installed in an external drive! I wasn't too worried. I slapped in a new 2.5 inch SSD installed Windows and Launch box and Big box again. Plugged in my external m.2 and started to copy over my backed up launch box folder. An hour into the 4 hour process the external m.2 died! Again, I wasn't too worried, (Not true, I was beginning to have a bad feeling) I had one more backup again installed on an m.2 drive (These drives were all the same company, size and specs, I think I got a bad batch as I bought all three of them at the same time from Amazon, never going to buy these drives again. Again, about an hour and a half into the launchbox folder transfer, the third m.2 died. I lost LOTS of work. Hours of my time. I have all the raw scans backed up, so I guess I'm back to Photoshopping ALL my raw scans. What's my problem, you ask? Well, after reinstalling Windows, and LB/BB I started re-editing the titles and game info to Japanese. I finished Famicom and Super Famicom so I decided to test my Unified Big box theme that I had installed. I load Big box but it's VERY slow to load and it also refuses to display the Unified theme I chose. Any ideas on how to fix this issue, so I can continue to recover the hard work I had already done? Hope somebody can help, Adam Quote

Can check this section of the LaunchBox Strategy Guide and see if it sheds any light.. Big Box Themes and Where They Apply - LaunchBox Quote
