vitorusp Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Maybe it would be a nice feature to add an update button in media updates that allows newer metadata and images to be updated even if older metadata already exists. The current feature deletes all media, regardless of whether newer metadata exists or not. THANKS for attention ! Quote
damageinc86 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Couldn't you select the yes download and replace all existing metadata and media, but then just have no new media selected to download? That way it will just update the metadata? Quote
vitorusp Posted November 10 Author Posted November 10 But if you have newer and better media and want to keep the existing ones (remember, it doesn’t replace — it deletes all media before downloading), then it would be more effective to compare: Is there media available to download? If so, is it more recent than the one saved on the PC? If yes, replace it; if not, keep the existing one. Compare the metadata. Is it more recent than the one saved on the PC? If yes, replace it; if not, keep the existing one. Quote
