Though suggested to them, I don't think any of them have created a Bug Report to 'officially' make the developers aware. (Top of this page under Help & Support) Some indicated that if they update/restart enough times, eventually it takes. Others stated that if they exit LB, delete the affected plugin subfolder then restart, the update process will work. Quote
andy_d Posted December 3 Author Posted December 3 (edited) Ah my search lead me to a post where the user didn't follow so I wasn't sure what to do. So I tried deleting every plugin folder -> as the app reopens, all the folders show up again and I still get a notification about plugin updates In case it's a factor - I do have Launchbox on an external ssd. I haven't touched the app in a long time but it was working without issue for a while. Edited December 3 by andy_d Quote
Solution andy_d Posted December 5 Author Solution Posted December 5 (edited) Ok it's because Launchbox is setting the plugin folders as readonly when it opens. 1. Open Launchbox 2. Uncheck readonly on each plugin folder 3. Update When it restarts, it sets the folders again to readonly but the plugins did update. I'm assuming I'll have to keep doing this till there is an actual fix Edited December 5 by andy_d Quote
