Tredecamus Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 I just switched over from HyperSpin to BigBox and love it so far. However, I just got my game library set up, the snapshots and videos downloaded and allocated, and went to move it to the arcade cabinet to map the controls. That's where it all fell apart. I have a Paradise Arcade Lono2 encoder that I use for 4 joysticks - 6 buttons for player 1-2, 4 buttons for player 3-4. Coin button and Start button for each player, and a handful of utility buttons. I went to map the inputs for the joysticks in BigBox for navigation and it won't recognize the joystick input when I try to set it - for instance, I go to map the Navigation Up by pressing up on the Player 1 joystick and it just stays with the pop up box saying it's waiting for input. I connected a Logitech F310 game pad and found that the D-Pad input will work, but the stick input will not. I was able to map buttons just fine - it will recognize the Player 1 Button 1 as the Select and Player 1 Button 2 as the Back inputs and so on. So there must be a difference between the input of a joystick/gamepad stick and a button. The D-Pad is recognized as having a button input instead of a joystick/stick input. Is there a way to make BigBox recognize the joystick input through a configuration in BigBox? I've tried all the different combinations of "All controllers"/"Problematic Controllers" with no change. I've also searched this forum and found multiple people with this issue, but then the thread ends before any resolution is given. Thank you for any help! Quote
Thigoron Posted Saturday at 03:52 PM Posted Saturday at 03:52 PM Hey I'm experiencing the same thing after updating to the latest version of BB, Did you by any chance manage to solve the issue? Quote
shro2016 Posted Sunday at 01:49 PM Posted Sunday at 01:49 PM I am having the same issue and glad I found this post as have just moved to Ultrastik analog joysticks and had not expected the issue to be the BigBox software so this post has saved me quite a bit of time. Is there any update on this? Quote
