Rotgut Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) I have been doing this Launchbox/Bigbox thing for about 3 years, switched from Hyperspin, this is so much better! BUT — had to do a re-install and this latest version is making me ABSOLUTELY NUTS. I cannot for the life of me get the right theme to show up for my platforms. Here's what I am trying to do: Remember that theme with the awesome backgrounds...? The Atari 2600 with the woodgrain background and, I think it was Q*Bert... Sega Saturn with the NiGHTS character... NES with Mario... Sega Genesis with Sonic, etc This new UI is so scattershot, so UN-intuitive, my god. So my question is, how do I get that old theme I remember to show up and be consistent across all platforms? I really need help, and I would appreciate it so, so much. Thank you in advance to anyone who can steer me back to what I used to love. This latest build is maddening. Edited January 13 by Rotgut Quote
Rotgut Posted January 13 Author Posted January 13 (edited) This was regarding the initial "platforms" view — I think it was called "Unified?" Which I did select. I just wanted to see if someone could help me out. Anyone? Edited January 13 by Rotgut Quote
JoeViking245 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Sounds like you had downloaded a custom theme. Can probably look through the Big Box Custom Themes section of the Downloads area and see if the image previews show the one with the awesome backgrounds, you're referring to. Alternately, in Big Box itself, you can look at previews of the 20 popular themes via System Menu - Manage Themes - Available Most Popular. If you find it there, you can install it directly from there. Quote
