Launchbox shows blank cover art despite full metadata downloads

Hello again, early LB user here.

Any idea why the cover art isn't showing in the center of the screen, even though I've done full metadata downloads?  Are there settings I need to change?  I believe i used the recommended settings.

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum, this is a combination (I would say) of what type of media is downloaded and the image priority that is set under the Tools>options>Media>XXXXX Priorities

If lets say there is a box-front image being downloaded and a box-3d at the same time in the priorities section you decide which image to show as the most important.
If on the other hand there is no Box-front or Box-3D image (in some situations) and you did not set up any other image type than these two then nothing will show up.

PS. Have you tried to reload the image cache (F5)?

what priority would you recommend for arcade?

I chose to display the "clear logos" image group for arcade and at least the logos are showing now.

Thanks.

In my personal opinion its totally up to you!
Clear Logos or Arcade Cabinets or even Marquee images work fine.
At the end of the day its about whats fits your liking and the best part is that you can change anything at anytime so you can experiment. 😄
