Is there a way to create custom "Image Categories" in LaunchBox?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I performed a couple of searches and didn't see anything.  So, here's what I am trying to do.  For the PS1 games there are some that have "greatest hits" boxes but I would rather have the non "greatest hits" displayed and yet I want to keep a copy of the GH box for posterity.  The thing is, since both boxes fall under the "3D Boxes" category, when LB loads, it sometimes shows me the GH box instead of the normal.  What I want to do is create an image category called something like "3D Boxes - GH" that I can label it as and then put that image category as a lower priority under the "3D Boxes" section so it will load the non GH box first.  I've tried renaming the files so that the box I'd prefer is -01 and the GH box is -02 but it still just randomly loads one or the other.  I also know I can just classify the image as something unused by PS1 games like "Arcade - Flyer", and I'll do so if that's the only option, but for organizational reasons (and for the health of my slightly OCD brain), I'd rather be able to do the "3D Boxes - GH" custom image category.

Well, only "reasonable" option.  I suppose you could customize your theme and force it to look in a specific folder (name of your choosing) for the game image file(s).  Viable. But not very reasonable (depending on the severity of your OCD-ness).

 

Plan "B", create your folder "3D Boxes - GH" and put your images in it.  Then create symlinks to those images in e.g. "Arcade-Flyer".  They'd be stored where 'you want them', but you'd still have to "classify" them as "Arcade-Flyer" in LaunchBox.  So not really a 'good' plan.

Ah, ok, it's a bummer but it is what it is, I suppose I'll just classify them as "Arcade-Cabinet" for now.  Thanks for answering!  Maybe this could be a feature request?  Just don't know how easy or difficult it would be to implement.

Not sure how "easy" it would be to implement (I think the image types have been set for quite a while [many years, hidden deep in the code]).

RE: a Feature Request... by all means. Yes.  (top of the page under Help & Support) 

The [potential] caveat being, I'm not sure how the developers would feel about a 'dynamic' image type.  e.g. The users can add in a new type and name it whatever they want. Like "3D Boxes - GH".  Where-as a new 'static' image type may, programmatically be more easily added in.  But it probably wouldn't be "3D Boxes - GH".  Just sayin'.    

This is all just speculation.  But hey, and it never hurts to submit a feature request.  Regardless of being feasible, reasonable, easy or difficult, or even useful from only one user's perspective.  Like Nike says, Just Do It™.
