Slow startup time for bibgox

Hello folks, I am running bigbox on my arcade cabinet pc, the machine is nothing fancy but I believe should be able to handle bigbox reasonably, the said machine has an intel i5-7400, 16gigs of ram, and everything runs of an ssd. the gpu is an rx550. I run only mame, visual pinball and some model 2/super model games.

I recorded a video of the slow start time and the overall experience in the menus, is the startup time expected?

Don't recall what the startup time for my cab with its antique i5 is, but about 19 seconds seems right.
