Steam Games not showing video preview in Big Box (Unified & Ultrawide theme) when selected with the platform wheel

New to LaunchBox and Big Box.  Set everything up fine using Unified & Ultrawide as my Main Theme in Big Box.  I wanted to separate my 3 Wolfenstein games from Steam I imported into its own Platform. I created a Platform called "Wolfenstein" and moved those 3 games into it.  That worked fine.  Then I didn't like how the rest of my imported Steam games went under "Windows" of Wheel 1 (Platforms) in the theme.  So I renamed the "Windows" Platform to "Steam".  The problem is now when I am in Big Box and I cycle through Wheel 1 of my theme, when I get to Steam, there is no preview of games on the left side, like there are with the other Platforms of Wheel 1 and how it was when the Platform was called Windows.  It is just black to the left of Wheel 1.  When I select "Steam" from Wheel 1, I see the games from Steam which I imported on that Wheel.  And I see images on the left, but no video preview. I'm thinking I "broke" something when I was messing with changing the Platform name from Windows to Steam. Photos below show a Launchbox shot of my Platforms you see I changed what was "Windows" to "Steam".  Next one is from BigBox when I select "Steam" from the wheel....just black on the left.  Last photo is after I select "Steam" from the wheel, I get an image of the game, but no video preview like the other plaftorms.  Please help!

I looked in my other Platform folders and none have any videos in the "Trailer" folder. I see the small MP4s in the "Theme" folder of my other Platforms, but there aren't any in the Windows Theme folder or the Steam Theme folder.

I think I must have broken some link when I pulled out my Wolfenstein games into their own Platform. I did the same for 3 Pinball games I got from Steam (created a separate Platform called "Pinball").  And then renamed "Windows" to "Steam".

I was thinking maybe I remove all my Steam games from Launchbox, rename the Platform back to Windows, and then bring the Steam games back in?  Any thoughts on that?

That would/should fix it.  Actually, right-click the platform (left panel) and select Delete.  Deleting the games themselves will add them to a "blacklist", preventing them from being auto imported.

To import Steam games into the "Steam" platform, go to Tools < Manage < Storefronts....  Click the gear icon to the right of Steam and select Set Import Platform and type in Steam.  Click OK and click Close.

To move e.g. Wolfenstein games to a different platform, select those games in the [now] Steam platform. Press Ctrl+E to start the Bulk Edit Wizard. For the Field, select Platform.  For the Value, type in Wolfenstein.  Click Next.  Next.  Click Yes, I would like to migrate my media. Click No, I would not like to make more changes.

Thanks JoeViking245 - Let me make sure I am clear with your instrutions:

1. On the left panel right click on the "Steam" platform (which was the "Windows" platform that renamed to "Steam") and select DELETE.  Question: That deletes the Platform "Steam" (formerly "Windows"), but doesn't remove any games from Launchbox, right??

2.  Go to Tools < Manage < Storefronts... and click on gear icon.  I don't see a gear icon, but I do see a square on the far right of the Steam line and I see the choice for "Set Import Platform".  I assume that is what you are talking about.

3. I created a platform called Wolfenstein and one called Pinball where I placed in there games from Steam.  Should I delete those Platforms as well as part of Step 1 to clean that up, and then do your last part?

4. Move games I want to a different platform by selecting them and using Bulk Edit Wizard.

I will wait to try this until I hear back so I don't make more of a mess!

Also, in the Storefront... that pops up, it shows the Steam line green and on the far right a red button to "Log Out".  Do I want to Log Out prior to going through the steps you outlined?

Sorry, another question -- since I created 2 additional Platforms (Wolfenstein and Pinball) and move Steam games into those, should first move those games back into the Steam platform (formerly Windows) before I start all this? Or should I go into the games I moved out into Wolfenstein and Pinball and go into Edit their Metadata and assign them "Steam" before I start this process, or does that matter?

If there are games in that platform, those games will be removed from LaunchBox [as well as the platform]. But they will not be "blacklisted".

Think of it as no platform, no games. ;)

Hmm... that square should be a ⚙️.  Regardless, "Set Import Platform" = Set Import Platform. so yes.

You indicated Wolfenstein was "fine".  But when you import into the new Steam Platform, it might bring them in again.  For a "fresh start" (regarding Steam et. al.) Yes. Remove those as well.  Then do the Bulk Edit thing for those respective games (after importing into Steam. Of course. ;)).

No.  See fresh start above.

If removing the Platform also removes those games in it, why not create a "Temp"  platform and I move all my Steam games into that and then go through the steps?  Or is the point to remove the Steam games as well, but just not blacklist them, and when I go through the steps they are freshly brought in.

As for my Wolfenstein and Pinball Platforms I created, they do work correctly in BigBox -- I can select them on the Wheel and they show a video preview to the left.  That being the case, are you recommending, leave those alone and just delete the Steam platform and therefore the games in there, but I should be able to pull them back in when I go through the process?

Thanks!
