Error on start - parents.xml is corrupted

I am suddenly getting errors when I start LaunchBox.  It complains that there is an open tag on line 3, character 1 of parents.xml and to restore from backup.

The file is absolutely fine.  The tag closes.  It's dandy.

But it said to restore, so I have done this.  Same error.

I then deleted parents.xml and restarted got the same error on line 3 of a non-existent file.  How do I fix this?  I'm getting seriously frustrated. If nothing else is there a way to turn on detailed logging?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok, I figured it out.  A broken parents.xml was in the platforms directory.  How it got there, I have no idea.  I deleted it and it's happy.
