RinoaSkye Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Hello. How does one seperate these two arcade platforms? Trying to import a MAME romset groups it with Arcade, and there's no FBNeo platform so I cannot seperate the two. Thanks Quote
damageinc86 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 I think you could make a new platform called FBNeo and then import it outside of the mame importer function, then "scrape as" Arcade when you're doing the metadata and images n stuff. Maybe? Quote

Thanks MAME and FinalBurn Neo are currently handled under the Arcade platform during import. The MAME/FinalBurn Neo logic is used for arcade metadata and emulator/core support, but the importer does not currently expose separate “MAME” or “FinalBurn Neo” categories. Quote

So could you maybe run the normal import for FinalBurn under arcade fully, separately, and then after that is done and scraped, unselect it as being a child of arcade? then it would be in the main menu?
