TomConklinVO Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hey guys! I can't seem to figure out how to change the controller overlay on the Android version of Launchbox. Can someone give me some guidance? I would like to set it up with an X-Box controller type layout or similar. No matter what I try it doesn't change from the standard D Pad layout. Thanks! Quote

The controller overlay isn’t controlled by LaunchBox - it comes from the emulator being launched. You’ll need to change it in that emulator’s settings. If you’re using RetroArch, open RetroArch directly and go to Settings > On-Screen Display > On-Screen Overlay > Overlay Preset, then select your preferred layout. You may need to update/download the overlay pack first and save a core or game override afterward. If you’re using a different emulator, let us know which one and we can provide the exact steps. TomConklinVO Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Hey thanks! I am using Retroarch. I'll try this. Where can I download the overlay packs? Quote
TomConklinVO Posted 4 minutes ago Author Posted 4 minutes ago So, that was helpful and I was able to figure out how to select a different overlay. However, every time I do a core override or a configuration override or any sort of save it doesn't save it so is there something I could be doing wrong there? Quote
