Don't know how much of this is a EHA thing or not.  I have an EHA Mame cabinet with the omega package.  I've been playing around with video marquee's but I can't seem to get any .mp4 file to play correctly.  Animated gifs work fine under the image marquee folder, but no matter how I try to configure the mp4 file it's not playing.  I also have the 3rd screen plugin that I think is configured properly as well.

Under options, video... switch from Windows media player to FF

So I think I've got somewhere.  Looks like the third screen plug-in and big box were competing with each other for the marquee screen.  I set the big box marquee screen setting to none to let the third screen plug-in do all the work.  But now when I run big box everything works okay until I try to navigate to a game with a video and then I get this error message:  C:\users\administrator\launchbox\thirdparty\mediainfor\x64\mediainfo.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again or using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the sfotware vendor for support. error status 0xc000007b.     I'm wondering what my next steps should be.  So I remove the third screen plug-in and try to let big box do it's thing.  I'll try to reinstall third screen plug-in when I get a chance (running version 6.0)

SOLVED!! just updated the third-screen plugin that its.  I was on 6.0 and just updated to 6.0.3.  I noticed that while installing my original installation appeared to missing a folder and a dll so that installation must have been corrupted but not corrupted enough to work 90% of the time.  Sometimes the obvious solution is the right one!
