Displaying Multiple Formats

Hi

How do you display multiple different media formats for a system.

I have reinstalled Launchbox and I want to have all my roms in one place.

so is it possible to have cassettes, Disks And cartridges in the same display?

AND if not how do you set up different game lists for the above, can you add sub categories I.E. BBC MICRO-and then under that three subs for Carts , Tapes , Discs (floppy)

When importing computer software if I don't know what media it is on it won't load without the correct commands for the format and a picture tells a thousand words.

Thank you.

One option is to import the various media type types (e.g. cassette, cartridge...) into their own Platform.  Then when you setup the emulator, you can have different Command-line Parameters for the different Platforms.

From there (continuing with this "option"), you can create a Platform Category (e.g. BBC Micro) and nest these Platforms (e.g. BBC tapesBBC Carts...) under that Category.

You can read more about Organizing Your Library here: Organizing Your Library: Platforms, Categories, Playlists, Favorites, and Filters - LaunchBox

Hi

Doesn't work

I made a category called Electron then a platform called carts set the parent to Electron and OK (The category's unique name is "123 cart" as this is a test)

nothing happened it didn't show up anywhere

tried again by making another platform called carts , set to Electron and says one already exists

How do I show the cart platform?

Try importing some games into the platform 1st.  If the platform doesn't have any games in it, it won't show up.
