About This File


Seamless matching front, back and left spine images intended for use with the LaunchBox 3D Model feature. Almost all are derived from original retail box artwork scans so quality will vary. Non game titles such as educational, programming and utility are not included but the odd one may have crept in.

This initial set consists of the download BBC_Micro_Norelco_Std.zip
It contains 953 titles which were originally packaged for sale in a standard cassette (Norelco) case. Should any missing titles come to light I will upload them in a minipack update.
Other sets (Dual Cassette, Card Box, Clamshell, Disk etc.) to follow later.

Released

Added the download BBC_Micro_Norelco_Std_Update.zip
It contains 12 titles missing from the original BBC_Micro_Norelco_Std.zip
Space Shuttle is missing a Box - Back image.
Titles in this zip can be combined with the Box - Front/Back/Spine folders of any other set to make a global set without any filename conflicts.

Looks good - but what's with the 3d boxes in the screenshots? Are they included? The description mentions only front, back and spine images.

The 3D preview images were made from the Front, Back and Spine images using the LaunchBox 3D Modeller. They were made before the devs released the Cassette box. I may have used the Box image but I can't properly recall.
They were posted just to show how the 3D Modeller could utilise the 3 images to render a 3D box and, as you point out, were not included in the upload.
