For RVZ what settings and Dolphin version is being used to build them.  Alternatively is there any possibility to switch to using Nkit2 instead so that the RVZ result is consistently reproducable?  The filesize and hash can change from version to version on Dolphin meaning the same file compressed to RVZ may not match if built with a different version.

The RVZ dat that official games are listed with used Nkit2 to compress.

I use dolphin dafault settings and the latest version at the time of the conversion. I'll have to see how nkit is used but I can only find 1.4. Do you have a link to nkit2 for me? If so, just dm it to me please.

Hey everyone.
 

Recently, I've learned how to do API calls/requests to the RA API server to get a list of all linked hashes for every supported platform and because of that, I'm currently restructuring all the DATs so that it'll be easier for me to add, change and remove linked hashes from the DATs more often and more accurately. As a result, I won't be releasing any updates for the next 1 to 2 months, give or take. Thanks for your patience and support.

That's crazy, I tried to do that in the past myself, but I could never get it to work, this will definitely be a huge improvement in ease of use I'm sure.

Awesome news! I’m slowly building an ArkOS rom pack for Anbernic RG353 handhelds like I did for Onion and the Miyoo Mini with your current DATs. I’ll do a final scan at the end with your upcoming version. CHDs for disc systems still require the most work but I know there’s a reason the DATs are for BIN/CUE. 

Really hoping to get the new version. I've built my entire collection using these as the 1G1R baseline (the versions to have) + then adding the missing entries using SabreTools. Also it is great having the supported hacks, patches and translations compatible with RetroAchievements to be queried using RomVault. Many thanks for your hard work.

I’ve embraced the No-Intro naming convention and using gamelist.xml files to clean up how titles are displayed. I also think this should carry over to Hacks, Homebrew, and so on in your DATs for consistency and the importance of version numbers for instance. It makes sense for our file names to match the Supported Game Files on the RetroAchievements site. Hopefully you see it the same way and are already implementing that into your next update. Thanks again for all your work!

Hi supermodio. Usually I add version numbers to hacks and homebrews if there's multiple versions linked but I'm thinking of adding version numbers to all non-retail games. I'll have a further look into it.

I just sorted my whole collection last night, and now there is a new version 😅Thank you so much though!

Thank you, Sir, what you do is amazing. Will you also provide CHD dats for DC, Saturn, Ps, Ps2, Psp and RVZ for GC in the future? You will save me a lot of time converting back and forth.

Gamecube is RVZ take a Look @jozekother CHDs comes later that need more testing.

@jozekThe GC DAT is RVZ. I discontinued the ISO DAT since LB now detects cheevos on RVZ files. As for DC, Saturn, PSX, PS2 and PSP CHDs, I am still busy working on them and will upload once they're done.

Seems like the CPC and Arcade dat is wonky on my end. If I try 1G1R mode it clears the set completely Maybe something im doing wrong in Clrmamepro?

Are your roms in zip format? and do you have backups enabled? If so, go to the backup directory to see if the roms are there. For CPC, most games are from the cleancpcdb romset and most arcade is from fbneo 1.0.0.3 romset.

I have a question:

Is it possible to enable official games that already have achievements in RA, and for games that have been patched with the same achievements as the original game?

Example: Super Mario World (USA).zip

I have it translated into Brazilian Portuguese and it looks like this:

Super Mario World (USA) (PT-BR).zip

I would like to be able to enable the same achievements for the versions translated into my language.

If this is possible, how can I do this?

At the bottom of all the linked files pages on the RA website, It tells you to "click here" if you want to have a translated version of that game tested and linked.

Generally I only add games that are officially linked to my DATs.

I used RomVault to match my Sega CD roms to the file hashes in your DAT, but RetroAchievements still doesn't recognize them.  Do they have to be CHD to be recognized?

That's strange. They should be compatible in both cue and chd formats. Is your RArch and cores all up to date? Also there are a few of the SCD devjam sets that have been demoted temporarily due to memory issues. Other than that, the games are working my side.

Odd.  I tried both Sewer Shark and Jurassic Park, and got "Unknown Game" for both of them, even though they matched your hashes.

I would prefer to store them as CHD, personally, but I think I'm running into the issue with the CHD hashes mentioned earlier.  None of the converted CHD files matched any of the hashes.

download and use the CHD converter from here: https://github.com/UltraGodAzgorath/Unofficial-RA-DATs/tree/main/CHD Converter and test 1 or 2 CHDs with RArch and with the CHD DAT.

Are you launching the cue file or the bin file?
