This is the penultimate release. Lots of companies covered here. Honestly, I cant even recall all of what I covered, was in a configuring trance the whole time. All I know is 454 games configured, the largest release yet. The usual fair of multi screen games, multiplayer games not configured for max players (as per usual) and analog games with preferable digital alternatives.

After this release will be the final one. I'll put out the xml and project as a whole with documentation that's a bit more user friendly. Get ready for pretty much everything (arcade wise) configured for MAME, with all versions and hidden gems pulled to the surface. It's now a straight shot to the end.

The above images are only a sample of the whole set.

As usual all analog controls are set correctly, or not at all if needed.

In a nutshell, I'm tooth picking my way through MAME platform by platform, and pre configuring the controls for all arcade games. Also identifying the best version and setting up multiple versions of the same game where needed.

You know the pain of weird awkward auto control mapping and fumbling around trying to figure what is going on. I have done that for you!
These remaps have been done exclusively for controllers. No keyboard inputs at all and all non essential inputs completely removed. Only what is necessary has been mapped.
Also, I have provided button layout images so you know exactly what the buttons are for every game!

I haven't just set whatever, every control has been tested, scrutinised and re-tested before actually making a definitive decision. I believe I have everything mapped to be as intuitive as possible.
Menu control in arcade games can be unintuitive when using a controller. These remaps have been made to make menu-ing intuitive and easy.
NOTE: If the left stick doesn't work in menus, the D-Pad will.

The per game .cfg remap files are idiot proof. Every input is accounted for and set, so your main .cfg wont auto assign any inputs.

Everything has been done on a 1G1R basis with parents taking priority.
However, as stated above this was for some games, not appropriate. Multiple versions have been configured for choice for these titles.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Download Remap files and place these in the cfg folder of MAME.
Download NVRAM files and place in nvram folder of MAME.
Download Button Layout Images so you know what the controls are.
PLAY!!!

Football Power footbpow	Whoa!! What an odd control system. When in possession of the ball you have full control of your players. When not in possession you do not control the players directly, you have a defend/tackle button that you press when a player is automatically near the ball to gain possession. On top of this, your kick direction is on the right stick as an analog input. The og arcade had actual footballs that you'd kick, these would detect how hard kicked and direction. So, the right stick will kick the ball in the direction you push it, the harder/faster pushed the further the ball will go. This is quite sensitive but needs to be on an analog input not a digital so just go easy. Controls: -Fuckin pain in the ass to figure out what the f**Ck was going on. PlayChoice-10

Playchoice-10. A pain in the ass to figure out. Despite being known for dual screen setup there is a single screen alternative available for all games via a bios (With a timer top right). Setting this up took some figuring out. Firstly you need to setup a playch10.ini file with the BIOS set to 1 (Single Screen). The bios line is in the "CORE MISC OPTIONS" section of the main mame.ini. Simply copy your mame.ini file, rename it to playch10.ini and change the BIOS to 1 in the ini file. Then change the Display option to only display one screen. The second pain in the ass was figuring out the menu inputs. I'll spare the boring details but the long and short is you need to start the game in a specific way.

HOW TO START THE GAMES: 1.Coin Up with Select. 2.Press LB on the yellow screen that comes up. 3. To Change Menu Selection (1 Players - 2 Players, Game Modes etc.) is RB. 4.Press Start on desired selection and PLAY! 5.If you get stuck on the INFO screen, just hold LB to get to the actual game menu.
