So I resolved the issue by downloading the update directly from LaunchBox and replacing the file in the Updates folder in the install directory. The old installer did not have the launchbox icon and had a "Admin" badge. I replaced this file with the new download and launched LaunchBox and updated without issue. Hope this helps

I am having a similar issue, but LaunchBox will launch into 11.8 and functions. I have downloaded the 11.9 file directly from the website and lost all playlists/games.... I don't have dropbox, googledrive, or any thing like that on my system. Launching into the application just prompts that a new version has been downloaded and will loop with the same error. Are there any install logs to grab?

Man, that sounds awesome! I'm just simply trying to enjoy BigBox on a 55" screen instead of my PC monitor. I sit here all week doing work, I don't want to game here too Any help is appreciated

Hello All, I am attempting to get Big Box to open on my second monitor but am not having luck. I have an HDMI cable from my PC to my surround receiver and everything is working great, but Big Box does not want to open on it. Troubleshooting: -set secondary monitor as primary monitor -moved Launch Box to secondary monitor and opened from there -start LaunchBox and BigBox on secondary monitor --The TV is 1080p but my desktop is 2160p....Steam Big Picture, Steam games launch on the desired monitor. When games are launched from LaunchBox, they are all using the PC monitor as well instead of the TV(primary). **TV is hooked up VIA HDMI for video and sound through the surround receiver. PC monitor is Display Port. I was hoping to be able to hook my PC up to my TV to game and then disconnect during the week (my game room is my work office). Not sure what else to try

Does LaunchBox currently generate m3u files for multi disc games? If not, is there any good m3u generator sites/applications? TIA!!

I only tried to install from the "Updates" folder today after the failed launch after the update. This has been working the entire time until this beta release. My downstairs PC is working fine with the same release

Updated to LB 9.8 BETA 14 and cannot launch application. When trying to launch the application, nothing happens after the Splash/Loading screen. Tried to install from previous updates, but all ROM/ISO information is gone....

Hello All, I recently acquired a couple of new SSDs and am looking to migrate Launchbox, image metadata, emulators and roms to a new drive. I know that the application can be moved without issue, but I was looking for advice on how to quickly update the Emulator/Rom paths within the application. Is it recommended to just start fresh and remap everything? Does anyone have a guide/tutorial if there is a quick way to update the path information?

I have been cleaning up and doing some work on my LaunchBox implementation but I have seen something that I can't quite figure out. Some of my games in PlayStation have a slight blue tint to them. See the image below between Chrono Cross and Crash Bandicoot. Just curious what this means. I thought it may indicate a game with multiple discs, but others that I have combined into one do not look like this.

I have been testing out BigBox more and am signed into EMUmovies to download videos, art, and music for games. However, I am having trouble getting the videos to play in BigBox and audio. I may be missing some simple step, but any help is appreciated.

Is there a feature in LaunchBox to sort a title by a specific name? Example, currently LaunchBox stores these titles in this sequence: Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII. Ideally, I would have them in the sequence the series goes -There is a feature in Plex that has a 'sort title' to be able to sort them in sequence that the user defines so a series of movies/games can be in the proper order and not just sorted alphabetically
