  1. Thanks for this response! I don't really know anything about autohotkey, but I'll look into it. It feels like everything would work if Launchbox itself just recognized that the game had closed, but I'm not sure how to make it realize that.
  2. Hi, everyone. I am trying to run a batch file after a Windows Store app ends in Launchbox or Big Box. Specifically, I want to kill an exe that I start before running the Windows App after I'm done. I have verified that the batch file works on its own, and the exe starts properly before the app launches, but Launchbox doesn't seem to detect that I have quit out of the app, so it isn't firing the .bat. I have checked "Automatically Run After Main Application," so I *think* I have set everything up correctly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Do any of the features that were polled cover handling merged sets better? Looking through the list, it wasn't obvious to me.
  4. Dragging in one at a time seems to work consistently.
  5. Interestingly, when I dragged in instead of using the import menu option, all the roms seemed to be "seen." I wasn't aware I could do it that way. Discrepancy still seems weird, but this is at least a good work-around. Thanks! Update/Correction: If I try to drag ALL of them in, I get the same results either way. I can drag them in a few at a time and it works *sometimes* picks up a title that would have been excluded otherwise. Results seem very inconsistent. Force importing on or off makes no difference.
  6. Since I'm already asking dumb questions, I might as well toss out another one: I have a software_list directory full of different console directories, each directory full of games. I've been gradually adding consoles to Launchbox, and whenever I do so, I notice that the number of games that are actually imported versus the number of games I have is vastly different. For example, I just imported Odyssey 2 and ended up with 11 games from a directory containing 90 unique .zip files. And since I have everything stored as merged zips (for better or worse), that represents 90 unique (or at least unique-ish) Odyssey 2 games. Only getting 11 out of that seems like something is going wrong, but I'm not sure what I'm messing up. Frustrating. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the response! I really appreciate it. It sounds like some kind of "append clone" field would fix it, but I understand that something like that isn't very high on the priority list right now. Thanks again!
  8. Hi, everyone. All my console games are in merged sets, and there are a couple of cases where I want to play a particular version. I mostly use MAME for console games, and in the console it's straightforward to say (for example): mame64 genesis -cart "MY\ROM\PATH\FILE.ZIP" CLONENAME That will get me my clone and I'm happy. But in Launchbox, I can't figure out how to do it. I've tried different configurations of custom command lines and nothing has worked. This seems like it should be simple, but somehow I haven't stumbled on the solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
