  1. Where did u download the sega model 2 emulator from? Cause I also run sega model 2 but I don't need admin privileges, nor does the emulator.exe ask for it. Context : No, the Sega Model 2 emulator generally does not require elevated rights (like "Run as administrator") to run on most systems. It's a user-mode application and should function normally with standard user permissions. However, specific configurations or security settings on your computer might require administrator rights for certain actions, but this is not inherent to the emulator itself
  2. requires elevation means the emulator2 is asking to be run with administrative privileges. Right click on your 'emulator2.exe' and select properties. Then go to to compatibility tab. It is the setting I highlighted in yellow. But before doing that. Ask first why that program needs those privileges. Most applications can (and should be able to) run without admin privileges.
  3. Also...be sure to turn on logging to file in retroarch To enable logging in RetroArch, navigate to Settings > Logging and enable both Logging Verbosity and Log to File. Set the Frontend Logging Level and Core Logging Level to your desired verbosity (0 for debug, 1 for info, 2 for warnings, and 3 for errors). After enabling these settings, restart RetroArch and your logs will be written to the /retroarch/logs/ OR you could open your retroarch.cfg manually and find these lines log_to_file = "false" Change that to log_to_file = "true"
  4. If you want all of these under one specific platform name and all games under that one specific platform are all using different settings for launching. I suppose that would be possible if you create several Mame emulators with each it's own launch commands and settings. (and after having imported them with shift or CTRL clicking all games, and mass-editing them to use a particular mame_custom emulator) But really, to ask LB devs to build something that is so custom and having to understand probably hundreds of different ways of doing things or what is defined in the csv. I don't think that is realistic. Maybe if you posted your csv here so that we might get a bit more context. Cause without that...it's a crapshoot guessing what you mean
  5. I've added them. I don't see any reason not to add them.
  6. No. That is allowed. Sorry, I was not paying full attention to the quote and didn't notice that indeed the mascot was not there on yours😄 Was too busy with several screens doing clear logo's. So, then all is OK.
  7. On a side note...i was going through all commodore 64 games with missing logo's as you know (as I stated here in this thread). So this one I will take as an exception, and that you made all of your submissions to the games DB. Else we are doing double work and there is still a lot to do 😄
  8. @nanbean : Mine was already accepted https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/370991 So which other games details page have u added this? If it is the same...you can still delete your pending request in the change status page.
  9. no problem. Let me know how you get on. Also...I assume your retroarch install is on a separate drive from C. Like on D drive or something else? Not that your OS is using controlled folders or something which prevents retroarch from saving to certain directories?
  10. Anyone else experiencing any slowdowns in their pending changes in the gamesDB? I have over 1250 pending changes now.
  11. hope it will get fixed soon cause now I need to refresh several times before I see anything.
  12. I had a bit of work getting rid of the bronze horns in the stone slab. There goes all that work 😁
  13. I will upload this one then. First have to wait till my pending changes are processed. That one sure looks very good!!!
  14. now it is happening even more frequently. Isn't anyone else experiencing this while browsing through the gamesdb? (https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/)
  15. @Street-RJ77 : One Bang Busters coming up
  16. Castle Shadowgate : Commodore 64 https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/169126-castle-shadowgate
  17. About adding games to it. Stigzler made a tool for that so you don't need to do it manually anymore.
  18. Have u tried starting fresh? Close RetroArch completely Navigate to root directory of retroarch Rename retroarch.cfg to retroarch.cfg.backup Start RetroArch (it will create a fresh config) Try changing and saving a simple setting like fullscreen (In video settings in the GUI (Video>Use Fullscreen Mode) Then save the configuration (Go to Main Menu > Configuration File > Save Current Configuration) Does it save that? Can u see in retroarch.cfg that the setting video_fullscreen = "false" went to video_fullscreen = "true"
  19. Occasionally a few errors pop up while browsing the gamesDB This can happen on a platform page, a searchlist or a details page. No available server error bad gateway error
  20. Also looks good. But more weathered outlook. And the eagle has more definiton. And u did something with aspect ratio it looks like.
  21. I will make a bug report if it keeps happening. Thanks.
  22. @C-Beats : I trust you are already aware that sometimes the gamesdb (website) gives a not available message. Still optimizing I think so I will ignore it for now.
  23. @_Besli_ : And the Polish version. I did clean up (only little) the red III part where the words AKCJE DYWERSYJNE are. Cause that was smudged.
