  1. C-Beats's post in Reinstalling launchbox over an existing installation (Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration) was marked as the answer
Yeah, your probably missing a dependency. Use the install over the current build and it should correct. Make sure when doing so you point to the actual LB folder and not \LaunchBox\LaunchBox as the installer will do if you select the current folder using the browse tool.
  2. C-Beats's post in Can't update official dolphin plugin was marked as the answer
Right click the folder after LaunchBox is opened and open it's properties. Make sure that "Read-Only" box is white (unchecked) and try again. We've been seeing issues on some users end where that folder is getting locked up for some reason and not letting us update the files correctly.
  3. C-Beats's post in Steam game automatically imported even when Enable automatic ROM imports is unchecked. was marked as the answer
Automatic storefront imports and automatic ROM imports are two different settings. To disable store imports go to Tools > Manage > Storefronts and you can turn off the feature globally or per store.
  4. C-Beats's post in Poor System Performance on my Gaming PC with Launchbox 13.14 was marked as the answer
I've never heard of our app doing anything like this to a user's machine. The mouse stutter thing I've heard before, the rest is new. For the mouse stutter what usually is affecting it is having the "Use All Controllers" option when you don't have one plugged in. To disable that in LaunchBox go to Tools > Options. Scroll the left list all the way to the bottom and select "Game Controllers". There is a "Use All Attached Controllers" option. Make sure that's turned off.

@Timber-eXoProjects Correction was pushed to the first beta build of 13.15
  6. C-Beats's post in Platform Sort Title doesn't seem to be fully working was marked as the answer
Thanks for the report, was able to replicate and get code in to correct.
  7. C-Beats's post in Artwork & Videos Directory Lift and shift was marked as the answer
Yes, you can change the folder on a per platform basis by going to Tools > Manage > Platforms. Select the platform and then press Edit. In the window that opens (Edit Platform) there is a Folders tab, you can choose the new location there.
  8. C-Beats's post in Region priority for image was marked as the answer
Region priority setting determines which ROM regional variant to prioritize during import. Image always does it's best to match the region of the game in question though. There is no setting to ignore that.
  9. C-Beats's post in Launchbox for Android, a few questions before diving into it was marked as the answer
RetroAchievements aren't in the UI anywhere, but if your emulator supports it and you have a internet connection you can still earn them on your device
Android doesn't have a pause screen
Not at this time as it conflicts with other devices/functionality like Samsung DEX
You'll basically use RetroArch on Android for all the systems you typically would on PC. Emulators that are better standalone on PC are also better as standalone on Android. Primary difference MAY be MAME but with the new MAME4Droid that may not be true. I haven't really messed with MAME on my Odin 2 enough to really have tried it.
  10. C-Beats's post in Downloading updates was marked as the answer
Can update on a networked machine and then look in your \\LaunchBox\Updates\ folder for the installer then copy that to the non-networked machine and run it over the existing install (it won't mess with your data, but make sure you install to the same directory and the installer isn't pointing to a LaunchBox subdirectory.
  11. C-Beats's post in Streamdeck Profiles was marked as the answer
For any application that reads if an EXE is open and in focus to load profiles you will want to point to the executables that are in the \\LaunchBox\Core folder, not the ones in the parent \\LaunchBox folder. Those are just redirects that open the ones in the core folder that are there to help with backwards compatability.
  12. C-Beats's post in Clean reinstall was marked as the answer
Primary folders to consider saving are:

Data (contains information on all library data, in your case it sounds like this ISN'T needed since you want to start over)
Images (is the default path for all images stored in the app. I'd delete any subfolder starting with the word "cache" before moving over. Also run Cleanup Media tool after you re-import your platforms)
Videos (same as above but for videos)
Emulators (only if you installed portable emulators to this folder and don't want to lose your configurations)
Games (only if you moved ROMs to this folder)
LBThemes (any LB themes you want to use in the new build)
Themes (and BB themes you want to use in the new build)
  13. C-Beats's post in license activation was marked as the answer
Best bet is to reach out to support@unbrokensoftware.com with any licensing questions. They have access to all the pertinent information regarding your license than anyone on the forums and can get you sorted.
  14. C-Beats's post in Deleted games are "coming back" was marked as the answer
This almost always happens when people have files that don't belong in \\LaunchBox\Data\Platforms folder. There should be a single file per platform named the same as the platform in question. There shouldn't be any files that say "-backup" or "-copy" or anything like that in that folder.
