  1. It works for me if I tell Launchbox to use the Retroarch core. But it doesn't if I point it at the free standalone version instead. The Retroarch core has its own issues though as I can't get save and load states to work with that, just crashes it.
  2. OK, I got it. I had to unzip them and I mean REALLY unzip them. Before I was trying zipped vs unzipped by changing the option in Launchbox where it extracts or doesn't before opening the target app. But I guess that isn't good enough and they have to be unzipped before even putting them onto the drive.
  3. I checked and there are 32x bios files in there. However, I'm not sure if I have the proper names or not. Looking at Retroarch's Picodrive info page I don't see anything about bios files for 32x, just the Megadrive and CD, both of those of which I have and are named properly. Bios files I have in there for 32x are [BIOS] 32X M68000 (USA), [BIOS] 32X SH-2 Master (USA), [BIOS] 32X SH-2 Slave (USA), 32X_G_BIOS, 32X_M_BIOS, and 32X_S_BIOS.
  4. Hmm, the Picodrive core is loading up Genesis and Sega CD games for me but 32X games just crash out instantly. I'm using a no-intro romset where the files have a .32x suffix and they are zipped. Don't know if it just doesn't like these roms or what. Tried loading em zipped, unzipped, doesn't matter.
  5. Curious if you're able to get Picodrive on Android Retroarch to run even regular 32X games because it hasn't been working for me. Doesn't matter if I launch from LB or Retroarch itself.
  6. Out of curiosity I installed the Windows version of Retroarch on my laptop to see what version of MAME is the newest one on it. It uses a 0.215 core, very new indeed, just one version behind the newest. So yeah, it looks to me like the Android version of Retroarch is around a year and half behind Windows when it comes to MAME.
  7. Yeah, that's what I'm using. The most recent one is just called MAME. When you load it it says it is version 0.197 which led me to believe that libretro MAME runs around a year or so behind regular MAME for Windows. That's the way it looks anyway but I could be wrong of course.
  8. Well, the newest is 0.216. I thought it would be a bad idea to use roms for that version though cuz libretro cores are my only option on Android as far as I know (Unless I go clear back to 2010) and when I load Retroarch's newest core it says 0.197 so that's the roms I sought out. But who knows, I'm new to all this.
  9. I tried both. Harder for me to tell with FinalBurn Neo because there isn't as much garbage in their lists to begin with and they're merciful enough to separate console games from the rest themselves. But with MAME I was getting console games and especially computer parts all over the place with the sliders on. Edit: I'm not using brand new MAME roms though. I don't know if that matters. I'm using 0.197 cuz as far as I know that matches the newest Retroarch MAME core.
  10. How is just whenever importing arcade games I was presented with sliders to filter that stuff out. Pretty much all of it was on by default. It didn't seem to actually work though. And I didn't use the Windows version to import or anything like that. Was there in the Android app.
  11. This is an issue that was driving me nuts until I found this thread (Or maybe it was another thread similar to this). Using Nvidia Shield TV with its puny 16gb of internal storage and was barely getting anywhere before it was filling up with images. Mounting doesn't help much either as you're very restricted with management of a mounted drive. But deleting that folder did the trick. Only issue is I had to do so a few times as it kept getting recreated. But eventually it took.
  12. Wondering when the ability to have more than one arcade list will be added. I'd like to have a MAME list and a FinalBurn Neo list separate from one another. Also want to point out that it doesn't appear that the arcade filters work right now. Checked a lot of that but the playlist is still populated with a lot of mechanical and console games and computer parts like floppy drives and whatnot.
