  1. In the MAME games I've not seen any error messages, they will either flash and go back to Launchbox or MAME will launch (navy blue screen) , flash and then go back to Launchbox. The set was from archive.org. Pretty sure it was the full set. Its been several months. The console games just flash and go back to Launchbox. No error messages. As to testing directly from the emulator I've not done that except for when I first started and no game worked. These were all due to incorrect settings. . So far the games that I like have all worked using with one of the versions. The few games that didnt work have been games I didnt care for anyway. With over 10,000 games I've obviously not tested all of them. Not sure what this means!
  2. Thanks for the comments. This actually occurs for MAME and console games. The MAME version is .221
  3. Im having similar problems. In order to play games in the C64 Dreams collection I have to disconnect my 2 sanwa style controllers. Im using a wired usb Xbox1/360 controller. When I reconnect my sanwa controllers they do not work in MAME arcade games. Seems like it has something to do with which controllers are assigned ports 0 and 1. Seems like the C64 Dreams wants the Xbox controller in port 0. Ive not played around much with the other consoles so cannot say how those are affected.
  4. Not sure how to ask this! Some games do not work when clicked on. However, if I click on the game and get the menu a list of several versions appear, world, usa, japan, etc. 95% of the time one of those listed will work!!! How do you make the working version the default when you click on the game? Also, why are there several versions and why do some not work and others do?
  5. Thank you for your response. I have an Xbox 360 controller and two EasyGet Arcade controllers I use for MAME games. Here is what I've discovered. When a game launches at the bottom is display that shows game port configurations When a game launches one of them grabs game port 0, the other will grab either game port 1 or 2. They are identified as Retrolink N64 controllers The Xbox 360 controller will be game port 1 or 2. None of the controllers are responsive. The keyboard doesnt work for anything but ctrl-alt-del If I remove the two EasyGet Arcade controllers then the Xbox 360 controller (gets game port 0) and the keyboard will work. I've found controller settings in the C64 Dreams folders but dont know what to change. Not sure how to change this. Any ideas?
  6. How the heck do you get the controllers to work? The games launch but I cant do anyting!!!

    Moving Launchbox

I originally installed Launchbox in its default location. Since then I'm pretty sure I have installed everything into the Launchbox directory, emulators, games, bios's, etc. I know some programs, like Microsoft Office, you cannot just copy the Office folder and move it to another computer and have it work.

    Moving Launchbox

I have Launchbox setup on an older slower computer. I've recently purchased a new computer with a faster cpu, faster-larger SSD drive, more RAM. Can I move my Launchbox setup on the old computer to the new one? I do have a paid license to Launchbox.
