  1. Thank you stigzler. 3RVX is the solution. Is worth noting that getting 3RVX to start at boot with the boxbox shell was a little challenging for me. In the end I had to add this as a task that starts after user login. I think this is because of when my sound divers in Windows 11 start to milage might vary.
  2. For reference here is how I solved this. 1. Downloaded 4:3 bezel files that I found using google. "git clone https://github.com/svera/vertical-bezels-4-3" 2. Created the attached tool using claude to create the missing .lay files. https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/2d2ff109-feb5-4bc1-8444-db51c2b36bb5 I hope this helps somebody. mame_bezel_generator.html
  3. Linux support would be awesome. A stable arcade cabinet yaay!
  4. Hi, I've built a cabinet with a 4:3 screen. I would still like to use bezels for vertical games however the when installing the artwork using the launchbox downloaded I get 16:9 bezels which is completely understandable. I want to. Disable bezels for horizontal games. Install 4:3 compatible bezels for vertical games. I found some 4:3 bezels on github but they were created for Retroarch and were lacking .lay files. Has anybody else solved his? Thanks.
  5. Hi C-Beats, For reference, just Arcade.xml. I assume that this is normal.
  6. Ok ignore, I worked it out. Posting incase anyone else stumbles on this. I usually use bigbox so I am unfamiliar with lunchbox or its DB structure. I was searching for a game in a playlist and then editing it. The edit was being applied to the platform not the playlist. Changing to the platform view the correct version launches which will work fine for me in box box. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature. Brett
  7. Hi, I see many posts but the solution doest work for me. I want to change the default version of a Mame game that launches by default because I will use an arcade cabinet. 1. Search for Karnov 2. Right click -> Edit Metadata 3. Under alternative apps I locate the version I'm looking for karnovj and click make default. 4. Save When I click the games Icon, the old default loads? I eventually deleted the other app lines but when I edit the game again all three of the original apps are still present. I've edited and resorted incase the DB needs to reload still not working. Strange... Brett
  8. 1 Up for native linux support. Thank you for big box, it solved my Windows 10 cabinet nightmares. I'd pay you a second time if this would work on linux. A stable platform for my home gaming appliance would be brilliant. Regards Brett
