I have run it on Linux Mint 22 with Wine and all dependencies (Net Framework 4.8, Net Core 3.1, Corefonts, d3dcompiler47, Media Foundation Library, Visual C++2015 and dxvk) It runs than freezes and i have tried all Versions between 11.3 to 13.20

Would be great to see a launchbox on Linux. I've been playing around a lot with Launchbox on Linux over the last few days and I can get it to run via Wine Proton, but it's extremely slow and constantly freezes. Something with this (Lutris wine-ge-Proton Logging): Started initial process 3377 from gamemoderun /wine-ge-8-26-x86_64/bin/wine /LaunchBox.exe Start monitoring process. Wait for Windows 10 support End in October 2025, most Users didn´t want Windows 11 and with Windows 11 25h2 we get TPM 2.0 mandatory. So all computers that are older than around 10 years are no longer supported by Windows. Many of my friends will switch to Linux because they are simply fed up with Microsoft's politics. With Wine and Proton you can play very comfortably on Linux (without a lot of command line) I play Games for about a Year on Linux and i don´t need Windows back

Hi, i try running Launchbox 13.18 on Linux Mint 22.1 but it´s slow as hell and often hangs up "Freezes" I have tried Lutris with the Runners: wine-ge-8-26, Lutris-7-2-2. Installed with VCRedist 2015 x64 and DotNetCore 8.0 LTS I also tried Wine 9.0 RC4 itself also with VCRedist and DotnetCore 8 and Bottles with many Runners same dependecies. Any Ideas ? Hope there would be a native Linux release.

Corrected must be only that if you choose own Dosbox Version EXE Path shown in Screen above that the Configuration Path will start with this own selected Version of Dosbox. The Application Path will do it right now, but not the Configuration Path.

Launchbox 12.9 Bug is still present, no one answers ...

I have found a bug in 12.8 and 12.7 Launchbox. If you use a custom Dosbox Version (use own Dosbox Version) in the Launchbox Meta Configuration for the Game, this custom Dosbox is used only for start the Game/App Path but not for the Configuration Path that is selected for Install.exe or Setup.exe or something like that. That is bad because Games wont be configured correctly for the own Dosbox Version.

Good morning, i have mounting problems with Dosbox-X 0.83.13 Launchbox sets the command for mounting CD Iso Files at startup from Dosbox in backsticks (´) but Dosbox requires double sticks (") so it won´t be mounted properly. Can i change in Launchbox these Setting anywhere ? to set double sticks instead of backsticks ? A example: Mount E ´D:\Descent 2\Descent 2.cue´ -t iso -fs iso that´s set from Launchbox automaticly
