  1. Hi all. I'm so sorry to be a pain So - I always input a couple of roms to test first before importing and downloading a load more. I tested with castlevania Symphony of the Night and a couple of others first. I imported the Roms into Launchbox, following the instructions and importing as files rather than a folder. I imported the .cue files. tested (through retroarch), pointed to the BIOS and everything. All worked. So I downloaded the rest of the roms, deleted the platform out of launchbox and started again. The games all show up, the metadata has downloaded and everything. They just won't play - not even the games that worked before I manually went into the retroarch system folder to make sure the BIOS was still there. It was. I even uploaded other region BIOS to make sure there was a match whatever region my ROMS came from. I looked at the screenshot below and wondered if there was a clue there? It's pointing towards one folder within the sub directory. For context each ROM is stored in its own subfolder in a Playstation folder on my D drive. They are.cue and .bin files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  2. Thank you - that solved the issue. I'm appreciative. I had actually tried that screen, but I hadn't realised you could type the platform in manually. It wasn't in the drop down so I came on here. I should have tried I guess. Thanks again!
  3. Thank you for that! I appreciate it. I’ll try as soon as I get home.
  4. I can see a message you responded in my email but not on the forums. Yes - I think it's asking me to associate a platform to the emulator. However - I have chosen the platform (Nintendo 3DS) and then I get the "add emulator" screen which is where I get this error message So I guess the question is - how do I associate it correctly to prevent the error?
  5. I am pointing to that. I still get the error message
  6. The error message I get if I type Citra manually is "Please enter at least one applicable platform in the grid"
  7. Hi everyone. So I have launchbox. I am adding platform by platform. I have a decrypted rom to test - super Mario 3D Land. It works fine in Citra standalone but when I try to load in either of the two available cores in retroarch it starts to land the rom and then closes back to the desktop. So - standalone emulator it is. Except there's no option to enter Citra in launchbox It doesn't appear in the drop down box and you can't just type Citra into the field. So I can set the path fine but it still wants Citra typed into the emulator field which I can't do. What am I missing? Thanks in advance
  8. I only downloaded it today so most recent version. I’ll try that keys thing later this evening and get back to you. Thank you.
  9. I've been investigating this most of the day. I don't get the overlay any more but the controller doesn't work at all in game now. Opening the quick menu when in game it is clear that the profile for the controller simply isn't loaded, but the option to add it isn't there. Go to the main menu and the controller is there. Completely weird and I feel like banging my head against a brick wall. Thinking of completely reinstalling retroarch again - unless anyone has any other suggestions.....
  10. I wonder if I can be a real pain and ask for some assistance? I started with .wux files that I downloaded off the internet but when I tried to run the .wux file I get an error saying it's encrypted and needs the key. So I downloaded your .wua files and tried with those but I get the error message saying that CEMU doesn't recognise them. Can you help me at all?
  11. Thank you SO much for this! It must have been a massive undertaking but I, at least, really appreciate it!
  12. Hi everyone. I've watched the video on YouTube from the developers of launchbox showing how to import Wii u files into lunchbox by pointing towards the .rpx file. But what if your Wii U file is a .wux file? Most of mine seem to be. How do I import them into launchbox? Thanks in advance.
  13. Good evening all. I’ve recently bought a second hand AMD One X player 1s and have big box installed. obviously as a handheld it has its own controller built in. I have also got an Xbox one x controller connected via Bluetooth. the problem is I can’t seem to have both controllers working in retroarch. The built in controller is mapped to port 1 and shows as an Xbox 360 controller. The Xbox one controller is mapped to port 2 and shows as a Bluetooth controller. the trouble is - as soon as a game starts up an overlay pops up saying 360 controller detected, bluetooth controller disabled. As the device is connected to the TV, this effectively makes it unplayable. has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  14. Good evening all - hope you’re well. I’ve come back to the emulation scene, and big box, with my new purchase the one x player one s. I installed my first two platforms, N64 and DS and set them up to work with retroarch. All was fine but there was an issue with the controllers within retroarch which couldn’t be fixed. So I uninstalled retroarch, reinstalled it, fixed the controller issue, went back into launch box and updated the emulator and associated it with the N64 and DS games. But now none of them will open obviously I’ve done something to break it but I can’t figure out what any help would be appreciated.
  15. So. I have a licence for the product and I am sorting out a big box install on my GPD Win Max. I’ve never had this problem with big box before, but it’s downloading maybe 1 in 1000 images and giving errors for all the others. Out of more than 5000 games across multiple platforms, it’s downloaded less than 100 games correctly and given errors on the rest. As I said, never had this issue before and it’s very annoying and makes big box pointless to launch. is there an issue? thanks
