All my roms are in one folder in mame roms and the emulator is pointing at that folder and the chds are 550 gb the chds are in there and the non merged 125 gb and it dont have anything to do with launchbox cause when i open up just mame it does the same

They are all downloaded from pleasuredome and non merged is 125gb the only thing i see different was it gave me the option to move the files or copy files to games folder but it didnt this time and im assuming cause it would double the 700 gb or roms in the mame folder

Yes they are in mame rom folder and used wizard to install and they are all there just says parent is missing

I downloaded the 228 bios , 228 chds (530 gb) and the non merged 228 roms and every game says missing parent , for 600 gbs of files i would think every fole is there but why not?

I have another computer with just mame on it and it would start the programs some didnt work but i added bios and i think its good now so the prob was bios and something in launchbox i”ll have to figure out what cause they are all under arcade in mame retroarch and launchbox and roms are all 228 and newest version of mame and retr and launch

I tryed running in just mame and says missin files which im assuming are either bios or chds or updates , im a noob so with merged roms that are new what esle is needed

I have launchbox with retroarch and mame installed and i loaded0.228 split and when i click on one to start it it trys to start then just ends , i know it prob been asked a zillion times i just cant find it

Hi my son in law built me a cabinet and sent me on to install games , i have downloaded launchbox and mame and retroarch and i plan on running off extrnal drive , i have downloaded the files and i want to know where to put them all and if i have to install all the different roms or just the o0228 ones , i have split files merged files 0225 files
