So is there a way to load wad files for mods that have multiple wads? Do i have to edit each one or is there a simplier way.

i couldnt get that powershell script to work (granted i dont know powershell at all) . this is what i did. put this in a .bat file, place it in a folder with your bin files and run it. for %%f in (*.bin) do ("C:\Program Files\PowerISO\piso.exe" convert "%%f" -o "%%~nf.iso")

My VPN is the culprit here. LB really doesn't like it when network share are unavailable...

Don't know when this first started happening all I know now is that it just freezes and doesn't come back and i have to kill LB from the task manager. Hey all,. here is question. Is there a way in Launchbox to launch (and kill when done) other third party applications when launching games from a specific platform only in LB? I want to launch joy2key or UCR when starting games in Lauchbox when playing games from my Windows platform. I don't need to do this for any other platforms. I don't see a way to do this but I could be missing something. I see you can configure emulators to run scripts but Windows just launches the exe files there is no emulator to configure.

Just to follow-up, I resized all of the images for my Windows platform. 41,814 files. It was originally 15.7 GB. With the Fotosizer application I reduced the size of all the images by 20% and reduced the quality of the images by 40% which reduced the total size of images to 4.25 GB. So, I saved about 10GB for that one platform. I think the image quality is still more than fine. Thanks for the link Rlad. This is exaactly what I am trying to do. I found a program called fotosizer that works well too. Also Ive started looking at the application Handbreak to compress my videos.

Does anyone have any experience with software that will allow you to reduce the size and quality of a massive number of images? My Launch Box folder is approaching 700gb. I was thinking I could resize the images in place so I don't need to delete all this metadata I've been collecting. Anyone have any experience with this? If that is not viable then I'm going to need to do something.

Yeah, ill have to create another bat for my other app. I believe off the top of my head that this would be useful with batch jobs (my case here), the m2 emulator or model3 emulator and Mame and Openbor. I know in Playnite you can pass just the name of the file with or without the ext or path or any combination.

Hi Joe. Thanks for the response. I am using a bat file and do use %~nx1 and did figure out awork around by appending the .ext but i have other apps on different machines which use the same bat file and those changes break my other apps. Not really a big deal but It seems backwards to me to handle two operations with a single checkbox. I don't know if its thats something the devs would wanna change that though.

I was wondering if the checkbox "Remove file extension and folder path" in the Edit Emulator screen details tab could be separated into two separate check boxes. One checkbox to remove the file extension and one checkbox to remove the folder path? Instead of doing both actions with one check box. I've run into a situation where i want to pass the filename and ext but no path and I can't seem to do it because the way its setup, Please let me know if this is feasible or if there is another way I could accomplish what I'm trying to do.
