    I checked the bindings, and I see Volume Up and Volume Down, but is there any other way to set one of my control panel arcade buttons to mute? This would be a system mute obviously, but I'm assuming that's what the BB binding is doing anyway. Thanks,

    Im having this on mine as well. I'm using Unified Refried theme. Restarting BigBox will fix it, but eventually I will get an our of memory error and will need to restart my PC. Maybe I should go looking for a process running in the background. This PC has been running BigBox for over a year, almost daily. So, either the latest BigBox has a memory leak or my PC is dying. But, seeing this post makes me think there's something in the software.

    For people getting this issue (like I am), try using this plugin. I installed it because another user said it could potentially fix my marquee issue where Teknoparrot marquees won't show. It DID fix that (YES!) and it also has seemingly fixed or improved the crashing issues that we started seeing in 12.5. I used to get a crash every 6 hours, now I've been running attract mode a few days with no crash. @Jason Carr just wanted to mention it in case it helps with investigations. If it's a memory leak, maybe something marquee related and this plugin does something differently.

    @superrob3000 Appreciate the quick turn around on a fix! This one does fix the problem! I've seen 1 strange side effect, where when I close House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn, it backs all the way out to the main view where I brose all my platforms and playlists, like the back button was being pressed twice. This didn't happen with the previous version, but honestly it's not that big of a deal. Can you think of why that might happen? If not I am content with the issue since it's very small. (It might be a side effect of my AHK for that game, since I use the Back button (bound to escape in the AHK) to kill processes as well as being my Exit Game hotkey in BB.) Another suggestion would be to label your zip files with the version number. It will be hard to know if I have latest if I have to install it and run it just to check. Thanks again!

    Installed this and tested it a bunch today. Really nice! I was especially thrilled that it solved my Teknoparrot problem - now all my marquees seem to work! Before, almost none of them would show (while every other emulator worked fine) However, there is an issue that maybe makes it not usable for me. Whenever I close Teknoparrot games, BigBox doesn't regain focus. I'm not sure what is getting focus, but no other windows are open. (by "doesn't regain focus" I mean specifically the videos don't play and I don't have control. Alt+Tab and selecting the BigBox application refocuses and I'm good to go) I've done tests with every TP game and it has this issue. I've also turned off ThirdScreen and it fixes it. So, I can only assume that ThirdScreen is getting focus when I leave TP games, and not BigBox. The issue doesn't happen on MAME games. ThirdScreen works great and BigBox regains focus when I exit. I've also rebooted my PC and let everything start up fresh again. I have a very simple set up. 2 monitors total, and I didn't change any of the default settings on ThirdScreen. Some apps are running in the background (making the cab work as intended) like the Sinden app, etc. Again, none of the windows are open. Hope you can help! LMK if there's anything I can do to help you repro.

    I tried this @HellraiserGN Normally I would crash consistently within about 6 hours. This time, I was still running around 12 hours so I thought it was fixed. But, alas, I woke up this morning to it having crashed. So, while 1 test isn't necessarily proof, changing the video possibly made it better, but didn't solve it for me.

    Glad to hear that there's not something wrong with my machines specifically! I've been forced to turn off Attract mode, which isn't the worst but obviously I'd love to get the feature back. I appreciate the guys talking to me and looking into it.

    My 2nd Cab, which is running on a laptop, also crashes around the same time. It's running the same theme (Unified Refried) but has a lot fewer games (like 20 maybe).

    I tried changing to Default, and All Night Long themes. Both crashed to desktop after about 6 - 8 hours.

    @C-Beats Unified Refried with some art modifications (custom videos, background art, marquees, etc.) Haven't added more than 1 or 2 games since 12.14, when this worked for days on end.

    @C-Beats I glanced at the Event Viewer but there's a lot going and Im not sure where to look. If you can help me out, I can get BigBox to crash again and see what I get. @Jason Carr Yep, running VLC. I'm using Unified Refried. I have a digital marquee also which uses images (not videos). Hmm, any other info I can get you, just let me know. Thanks!

    After version 13.0 update, Attract Mode will go for about 6 or 7 hours, then crash completely. Before (12.15/12.16), it would lock up and I'd have to close it down. Now, it will just close itself down. No error or anything that I see - when I pass by my machine again, it's just not running.

    I went down the rabbit hole of creating custom marquee images for Big Box. Each game I have on my cabinet has a custom marquee with the custom controls baked in. 300 or so games. A lot of fighters, light gun games, emulated games, and a few guitar hero/rock band games. I packed up all the source and have linked it for anyone here that wants to attempt something as crazy. Lots of png's for logos, characters, consoles, etc. psd's for the marquees, but also for control panel templates to create your own. Fonts included as well. Hope someone can get a use out of it!
