  1. Is this a known issue? I tried removing and re-importing and the achievement badge won't appear like it does for Steam games.
  2. Being completely obsessed with game metadata, I use List View as my default view together with Faeran's Big Details theme. Then I create Playlists for each game series. For me, this is the perfect balance between showcasing media and data.
  3. Interesting artwork or gameplay ideas that never made it to the final cut of the game I like how this was done in BioShock Remastered. They created an actual playable map level to explore with all the bonus content, it was called the "Museum of Orphaned Concepts".
  4. Great question, @AstroBob! Here are a few things that I believe are essential to a successful remaster: The game should be updated to run smoothly on modern hardware Any bugs, glitches, coding, or translation errors present in the original should be fixed Visuals/game engine should be improved as much as possible without changing the essence of the original; this might be the hardest part of any remaster Music/OSTs can be re-recorded using modern equipment Implement controller support but only for games where it makes sense Add online matchmaking or any community features (achievements etc.) wherever it makes sense to do so (don't overdo it) Have the ability to revert back to the original with the press of a button (such as in the Monkey Island remakes) Gameplay can be optimized for modern audiences to give a better feel; let's face it, things need to be more fast paced nowadays compared to how they were at the end of the 20th century Narrative should NEVER be changed: stories, unlike other game elements, are timeless; leave them alone Lastly and most importantly, always seek feedback from the community when planning a remaster; get an idea of what players actually want Case in point: DON'T DO THIS ❌ DO THIS βœ…
  5. My money's on the CD PROJEKT RED: THREE DECADES OF GAMING collection! I don't think any devs are more deserving of an anniversary collection than them. The passion they put into their art, music, and storytelling is clear to see among their various hit titles. Release it together with the Witcher 4 and you've got one hell of an anniversary collection, guaranteed to attract the next generation of gamers!
  6. I'm at work and I spent way longer on this than I expected lol. Top 5 of all time is too hard, I would prefer to choose the top 5 by Genre instead. But okay, if you twisted my arm about it then I'd say : Left 4 Dead 2 Half-Life 2 + Episodes 1/2 Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne Expansion Diablo 2 + LOD Starcraft + Brood War Yes yes I am a bit biased towards classic Valve and Blizzard 😁
  7. Trine: A lesser known co-op side-scrolling puzzle game similar to The Lost Vikings ❄️ Nine Parchments: Another lesser known co-op puzzle game by the same developer (Frozenbyte) πŸ—žοΈ Left 4 Dead 2: Still one of the best multiplayer survival horror games to this day. The community is still strong and the gameplay never gets old! πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈ Unreal Tournament 2004: So many good memories πŸš€ Warcraft 2: Used to play on LAN with my older brother back in the day, we'd create custom maps with lots of forests and then use our villagers to chop down trees and carve secret tunnels where we'd try to survive with a small army against the AI playersπŸ˜†
  8. Glad to have you here AstroBob. P.S - I love using Additional Apps as well, especially for Demo versions of games and also ones that use Trainers
  9. Let's hope that more people request this change... we can't be the only two who love using List View! πŸ˜…πŸ™
  10. Long before Assassin's Creed was a thing... we had Thief! I would love to see the original three games in a re-release collection. I think they are long overdue for a remaster.
  11. A year later.. still here hoping it gets implemented haha
  12. Thanks @C-Beats! But I was looking at reverting from the 3D model back to a regular 2D image (the way it was before the update). Disabling the 3D model in the options removes the whole box front cover from Game Details. I thought maybe there would be a way to change this in the theme code.
  13. It doesn't work well with my setup. @faeran I'm currently using Big Details, is there a way to edit the theme code to allow for this change?
