  1. Thank you @faeran for trying to assist. I appreciate you taking the time to help, I really do, as I am at a complete loss. It isn't the end of the world, by very frustrating nonetheless. numscreens is set to "1." Everything else is auto as suggested. Regardless if I adjust screen to \\.\DISPLAY1 or \\.\DISPLAY2 it always opens on the marquee screen. I don't understand it. My marquee display is a computer monitor connected by display port->HDMI and the main display is a TV connected by HDMI->HDMI if that makes a difference. I even turn off the marquee screen (not unplug) and MAME games still try to run on the marquee screen (nothing shows up on the main display) This happens whether I launch a game directly from MAME or via Launchbox/BigBox. So my marquee is enabled through BigBox. (I hope that answers the question) Options>General> Display 2=Main Display, Marquee Screen=Display 1. It doesn't match the Windows configuration, but I don't much care as it works. When I open a different system and load a game, say Super Nintendo (retroarch), the displays are correct. When I get to the platform menu and hover over Arcade, the marquee "Banner" shows correctly on the marquee screen. Even when I select Arcade platform and select an arcade game it will load correctly with the game on the main display and the marquee on the marquee screen. Then when the MAME game loads and takes over it switches the game to the marquee screen leaving the main display black. It also crashes the system as I believe that the marquee banner and game are trying to load on the one marquee screen. Very weird. Any thoughts?
  2. Hello, I am experiencing issues with MAME opening on my marquee screen instead of my main display. I have run mame -v and it states : Video: Monitor 131073 = "\\.\DISPLAY1" Video: Monitor 131122 = "\\.\DISPLAY2" (primary) In Windows my main display is "Display 1" and the marquee screen is "Display 2." I have changed the OSD Per-Window Video Options: screen0 to \\.\DISPLAY1 screen1 to \\.\DISPLAY2 [didn't work] I tried changing screen to \\.\DISPLAY1 [didn't work] screen to \\.\DISPLAY1 screen0 to \\.\DISPLAY1 screen1 to \\.\DISPLAY2 [didn't work and even reversed the 1's and 2's] How do I go about making MAME (0.262) run on my primary screen? It seems like I have done the hard part (hours of studying how to fix) but I still can't get MAME running on Display 1 and Marquee on Display 2. Might have to give up the marquee screen because I can not figure this out.
  3. Great work @superrob3000! I for the life of me cannot get this to work properly. If I just use the Big Box marquee screen option, it works great. My main display is set to "1" and my marquee screen is set to "2"; however, when I go into ThirdScreen option (add a screen) it has them flipped. My main screen is denoted as "2" and the marquee is denoted as "1." Is there a solution to this?
  4. Hello everyone, Is there a way to set individual marquee priorities for each individual console/system in Big Box/Launchbox? For example: Have the top priority be "Banner" for Arcade and SNES but "Box Front" for NES and "Clear Logo" for N64? So when you enter in the SNES game menu the marquee displays a "Banner" and when you exit and go into the NES game menu the marquee displays "Box Front." And to take it further: I assume that there is no way to change the marquee display from the game menu to in game. For example: You are in the SNES menu, it is showing "Banner; when you click on a game and start playing a SNES game the marquee changes to "Clear Logo." Thanks for any education on this!
  5. @Mr. RetroLust, I have been using this theme for a while now, and get so many compliments on your work. It looks stunning. I have recently added a marquee screen and was wondering if there was a way to remove the realistic mars/smudges/scraps from the image? I assume it would be in Views>gamemarqueeview if possible at all, but I didn't want to mess anything up. Thanks for any insight! *side note: have you thought about creating Platform banners/clear logos to match the theme? That would bring many people's cabinet to the next level I would imagine.
  6. Ok update: I feel so stupid. But maybe this will help someone else. I went in and was messing around with all the variables and switched the main display to 100%. This completely fixed everything. I don't understand it, but I'm not too technologically inclined.
  7. Hello everyone, This is probably a stupid question but I am having the hardest time implementing a second monitor for a marquee. When only using one display, everything works perfectly. Display 1 is a tv (main display on PC) and is connected via HDMI 3840x2160 @300%. Display 2 is a small monitor and is connected via display port to HDMI 1920x1080 @100%. Monitors are set to "extend" GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 When I go into Options>General to denote the main display (display 1) and marquee (display 2), the marquee tries to appear on the same screen as the display (behind BigBox main screen) and ultimately crashes the application. I selected display 1 as the main display and display 2 as the marquee. Swapping the displays doesn't work either. (which is the main and which is marquee) It never uses the secondary screen. I even tried downloading and using ThirdScreen Plugin. When I go into ThirdScreen (after following the instructions, turning off marquee in BigBox) and try to set a marquee screen. It tells me that the actual display 1 is "Display 2" and the actual display 2 is "Display 1." When I try to make "Display 2" the marquee, I get an error message saying that BigBox is using that as the display screen. And when I switch it to "Display 1" no marquee appears. I have no idea what is going on, it is pretty frustrating as I feel as though it should be an easy implementation. *Using latest version of BigBox Any suggestions/assistance would be very much appreciated!
  8. I have been trying to work Steam games into BigBox but am having issues. When I launch a steam game from bigbox, the game zooms in to where I can only see roughly a fourth of the picture. Can anyone provide a fix for this? I haven’t been able to troubleshoot it by myself. *actually it only seems to do that on one game: rocksmith. Apparently this is an issue with the game in steam not Bigbox!!!! Sorry* thanks for any help!
