  1. I’ve been exploring PS2 emulation recently, and one thing that seems to cause confusion for beginners is the BIOS setup. Even when the emulator itself is installed correctly, the wrong BIOS region, an incorrect BIOS path, or unsuitable graphics settings can prevent games from starting properly. For anyone troubleshooting PS2 games, I’d suggest checking the BIOS configuration first, then making sure the emulator is using the correct game directory and graphics renderer. It can also help to test different settings rather than assuming one configuration works for every game. I put together a beginner-friendly resource covering PS2 BIOS and emulation. (Link to copyrighted material removed) Hopefully this helps anyone who is just getting started with PS2 emulation.
  2. Hi everyone, I've been setting up a retro gaming library in LaunchBox and most systems are working well, but I'm still trying to improve my PlayStation 2 setup. Some games run perfectly while others need a bit of tweaking, and I'm also trying to keep everything organized so the collection is easy to browse. While searching for information about PS2 setup and compatibility, I came across [link removed] and found some useful background information, but I'd still like to hear from people who use LaunchBox regularly. For those of you with a larger PS2 collection, what are your best tips for organizing games and avoiding common compatibility or configuration issues? Are there any LaunchBox settings or workflows that have made your setup more reliable? I'd really appreciate any suggestions or advice from experienced users.
