In my particular setup its the Neo Geo and the Neo Geo Color logos that have shrunk Did you already try to refresh your image cache in the options menu? Yeah Ive refreshed multiple times. Ive even deleted the default Neo Geo platform image and its still stuck with the same really small clear logo. Yeah Brad, I meant the Neo Geo Pocket Color

  3. New Beta looks great. Still having an issue with some of my platform Logos shrinking to very small. Ive tried removing the logos for these specific platforms and still having the same result (default logo very small). Great job Jason! Loving the direction LB is going!!!
  4. kmoney2315 said Found a bug. I didnt notice it right away until I refreshed my image cache. My Wii platform clear logo that I have had since I started using BB all of a sudden is super small on the platforms wheels view. The quality of the logo is 2000 x 909 pixels. Same issue. My Neo Geo and Neo Geo pocket logo are now both super small since I refreshed my images.
  5. Ive been pretty addicted to Steam lately. Feel free to add me. http://steamcommunity.com/id/nickjs311/
  6. Hey guys! Im trying to figure out if theres a way to add a background image for custom filters in Bigbox mode. Thanks for any help!
  7. The Nestopia core is the one Im having the most luck with. Going through and testing every game and it seems to be just bad roms. However Ive tried using roms for Akumajou Special from different places and still getting the same result. Ill keep messing with it and update if I can figure out whats causing it. Edit: Ive gone through and tested every NES rom. Ive been able to fix every one except for 2: Akumajou Special Wai Wai World 2: SOS!! Ive tried multiple roms from differant places but still wont load. I guess 2 out of the 800 isnt bad lol.
  8. I havnt tried using different emulators but Ive tried using multiple cores and Im getting the same issue. In fact when I try other cores sometimes other games wont work and I get the same issue. Edit: I found a different rom set and that seems to have fixed the issue for most of the games Ive tested, however Akumajou Special is still having the same issue......
  9. Just of the top of my head, 2 of the games are Akumajou Special and Bigfoot. Im using the roms off of emuparadise but ive tried using roms off of a few other sites for Akumajou Special and Im still getting the same result. My next step is to set up a differant emulator for those specific roms having this issue but I figured Id ask here first.
  10. Hey guys! Im having a weird issue with some of my NES roms in Retroarch. Out of the 800+ NES roms, most work great. However Ive encountered maybe 10 games that wont load. When I go to the games directory the zip file for that game will still be there as normal as well as a .nes file for the same game. Ive tried deleting the .nes file but it just gets recreated whenever I try and launch the game again. Any idea whats causing this and how I can fix it? Using Retroarch 1.2.2 Thanks guys!
  11. Welcome Dewphoria! Awesome icons! Great work!
  12. Again thank you! This was a huge help!! Deff want to get something I can build on later. In fact, because this will be dedicated to Big Box Im prob going to start expanding the systems so being able to run PS1, Sega CD, etc..so it is something I need to plan for. Thanks again!
  13. Thanks Brad! Im really only planning on running systems preN64, however I will also be running MAME so thats something to consider. Thanks for your suggestion. What would you recommend for minimum specs in general?
  14. Hey guys. Im planning on hooking up a PC to my entertainment center for movies and retro gaming. My main concern is making sure Big Box will run smoothly. Specifically transitioning between games selected and videos for is those games. Big Box runs great on my gaming laptop but runs very sluggish on my old desktop. Do you think this will work? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-desktop-intel-pentium-4gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive-white-gray/3311063.p?id=1219579614171&skuId=3311063 Planning on adding some RAM to it if this is what I decide on. Thanks for any help!
  15. Its working great now. For some reason I was expecting to see it on the same screen as the GamesDB list. When I didnt see it I thought I was doing something wrong, lol. I just needed to uncheck everything and hit next.....
  16. Thank you Brad! I tried that earlier but didnt go that extra step lol.
  17. Loving being able to add videos to LB from Emumovies! Is there a way to to download videos for all games in a system at once or do I have to go through each game and update download pictures/media? Thanks for the help!
  18. Got it working! Had a file in the backups folder that I needed to change the permissions and then the same for the Launchbox XML file. Everything is working great now. Thanks again guys!
  19. Thanks Brad! Ill take a look at it. Awesome tutorial btw. Looking forward to the next one
  20. Thanks for the response Jason! That sounds like it makes sense to me. Unfortunately I have no experience at all working with file permissions. My concern when I originally copied it over was the games not playing due to the file structure not matching. Meaning its finding the games from the flashdrive and not from the User/Nick/ Launchbox/etc.. I was surprised when the games launched at all to be honest. But still having that one problem.
  21. If you click on tools at the top, and then options. Thats will bring up the customization menu. I believe you have to have a premium license to access that though.
  22. Hey guys! Having a problem I dont know how to fix. I transferred my Launchbox folder over to a flash drive so I can play it on my work laptop when I travel. I dont want to copy the folder over because its a work laptop. When I try to launch a game from the flash drive the game will launch but then I get an error saying I dont have the write access permissions and I need to copy the folder over. The game will still run (getting slowdown half the time) and Launchbox completely closes. Is there any way around this? Thanks for any help!
  23. Thanks Brad. Ill play with it. This helps alot! Edit: Got it working perfectly. I had the wrong bios but once I found them and put them in the correct directory everything is great. Thanks again Brad!
  24. Hey guys! After watching Jasons Retroarch video I decided to switch all my emulators over to Retroarch and Im loving it. The problem Im running into is playing Famicom Disk System games. Im pretty sure the problem is because of the bios not being in the correct spot. Im using the Nestopia core. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  25. Thanks guys. Time to start cropping lol
