The core itself works fine within retroarch. The core is also selectable in launchbox emulator settings but when I click play from lbox it just shows a blank screen.

so Drastic DS launching is still not working (waiting for the fix- Jason knows about this)
I also find that CPS3 games are not launching. I use retroarch and fba 2012 cps3 core which runs the game perfectly through retroarch but it wont launch from LBox - i just get a black screen.

Just need to fix drastic ds ROMs loading which is currently broken and then everything will work great!

I have exact same problem = Latest launchbox recognises my CPS 1&2 zipped rooms but then crashes and kicked back to android desktop whilst parsing/adding. Anyone know why this is happening?
My files look the same as goldielocks above.
Help?

Is there a font size option in Big Box? I am using my Nvidia Shield to stream Bigbox from my PC. Using various themes but the font size is a bit too small for the 55" TV!
It maybe because my PC is 4K but my Nvidia out put is 1080p?
How do I make the font size bigger please?

OK something else:
For my example below I am saying there are 3 views in BB:
1) Platform View
2) Games View
3) Game Details View (optional - can have enabled or disabled via settings)
I usually have 'skip game details view' enabled for other themes (as other themes have the details on the games view screen like notes/description, last played, etc) but if it is enabled on yours I cannot access all that information on Game Details view as it just loads straight into the game.
I also cannot access full screen images of artwork and the back of the box unless I am in that game details view only.
Easy fix is to disable 'skip game details view' and then I see the Game Details page after selecting a game.
As I am sure many of us have more than 1 theme installed and in use, it's annoying for pure laziness reasons to have to remember to switch that option when using different themes.
I need to ask @Jason Carr about having a button assigned to showing Game Details view on the controller from any screen. This would solve it.
Some food for thought!
Is there anything you could do regarding having access to fullscreen images at the Games View stage which only works at Games Details view?
Wishlist of things I would like to see in the future:
More views!
Video integration for platform views.
Bottom left of Platform view having the name of the console in it.
Fullscreen images access at games view
I have added a mockup of the Platform View screen with some of these ideas.
The more info toggle would be on both Platform and Games View and take you to a page like Game Details view for Platform and Games View even if you have it enabled to skip the page.

My 7.5 stable BB has issues running the latest version of this theme.

I create a shortcut to the game and use that for LB.

Make Doom 2 into Brutal Doom 2 and run it with Launchbox.
You setup GZDoom as an Emulator.
You add the game you want into Launchbox by searching metadata of original game ex: Doom 2 (You can then edit later the title to Brutal Doom 2 and add custom images from internet)
Once done you goto to your GZDoom folder. On the root of the folder you need to have all your files there, not in their own folders.
Make a new text file and call it Brutal Doom 2
@echo off
d:\GZDoom\gzdoom.exe -file DOOM2.WAD brutalv20b.pk3Change d:\gzdoom\ to the location of your GZDoom folder and change the wad name and pk3 name to your naming convention.
Save this and change txt file into bat with winrar or some other program.
Your end result will be Brutal Doom 2.bat and use this as the ROM file in Launchbox

fixed it with 7.1 official. Although still can only get Background music to play and not platform specific to play music....

I am using beta4 7.1 and I cannot figure out how to make BB play my music for games list view.
I have added an mp3 into Launchbox/Music/Super Nintendo Entertainment System folder for example but when I'm in BB I hear nothing.
I have ticked all the right settings in BB under Sound options. Can someone help me get sound for Game List view?
Is there a file naming issue or a certain size limit?

Hi
Using VLC as the default video player I can only get platform videos to work by going into a platform and into the games list and coming out to the platform menu again. The video will work. If I scroll to the next platform the video doesn't appear but the sound does and I have to keep repeating the process.
If I use WMP as my default video then it works great on your theme.
Win 10. I would say VLC support is still broken.

While using Platform Category view I noticed that if you have a system called Arcade in the Arcade category/group that also has other systems like Cave or Sega Model 3 when clicking on Arcade you still see everything (Model 3 and Cave games as well instead of seeing just your games in Arcade).
Ex:
+Arcade 100 games - the Platform Category
-Arcade 60 games
-Cave 30 games
-Sega Model 3 10
When I click on Arcade 60 games I should just see 60 games but I see 100 games - I see the same view as the platform category but not the 60 games view.
I found a workaround by calling the Platform Category Arcades and putting everything under that so Arcade was unique and it worked.

My platform sidebar with all my systems is now not in alpha numeric order.
Anyone else come across this?

I have attached a screenshot mockup of a game view I was hoping you would be interested in creating for your theme? Inspired by your own platform view design!
It could replace the Horizontal view in Games or you could just add another view? Not sure. Anyway it would be amazing to have a game view like the one I have proposed.

Hey all is there an option to have Launchbox not create game folders every time I start the app?
I already have my customized game folders and am not planning to emulate further systems so I am having to manually delete the folders I don't want from the Games folder. I do add new roms to existing systems and then I have to scroll through all these empty folders.
Is there any way to stop the game folder creation every startup?
