  1. Minor issue I ran into on a fresh install. Bigbox mode would not remember my configuration while importing with LB in the background. After the import was finished I shutdown LB, retarted BB, edited settings, exited and everything saved correctly. Not a big deal but worth mentioning and maybe already a known issue.
  2. Keep in mind that some hacks/clones are worth it. Like the 4 player Konami games converted for 2 player setups. I know it was a huge pain in the ass but I manually built all my sets from a merged set from [redacted], pulled out all the games and I wanted and all the clones I wanted with Don's Hypertools which is far more easy to use and sort then most other rom managers but that is just my opinion and not fact.

  3. I use 4 Xbox 360 pads wireless on my set up. It works right out of the box with LB/BB and Retroarch which is my main emulator back end. It also works in Dolphin, PPSSPP, PCSX2, DEmul, nullDC and any other emulators I have thrown at it. I can't really say for the logitech but it is worth a try.
  4. I may have missed it some where but can you scrap a specific file type per system? My PSX library contains cue and bin files, the scrapper is picking up both so my collection has about 10 of the same games in the scrap results. I would prefer to exclude scrapping the bin files and make cue priority.
  5. I actually choose to do a complete fresh install with the beta client and wipe all my library's to help test all the quirks. I am really in no rush on my HTPC to get everything ironed out and rather help with the process.
  6. I dont know if this is a bug or not but with the latest beta client every NES game that I imported that started with a number, 720, 1942 etc got meta data attached correctly, no images and appears in the All tab but not in the NES library. I was able to go into the games and download images but they still appear in All but not in NES.
  7. Quick question, which cores does Launchbox/Big Box use as priority in RA versus what RA offers? The reason I ask is I am using Final Burn Alpha cores for my arcade rom sets and prefer this over mame. FBA CPS1 core for Capcom Playsystem 1 games, FBA CPS2 core for Capcom Playsystem 2 games, FBA Neogeo for Neo Geo games and FBA SVN for all other Arcade titles. I plan to each make these there own system/playlist but I wanted to make sure LB/BB was not going to use the mame core for each of these list. Can I edit the autohotkey files to add the cores myself? Thanks!
  8. Great feedback. I did not know the GameDB was down. I was just on the web page the other day but maybe fetching data is completely different. I am a 5+ year Hyperspin vet and finally started to let it go and I stumbled upon Launchbox via SimplyAustin (cheers). I really like what I see so far and it has everything I was wanting Hyperspin to eventually have but the development there is basically dead. You all seem to really like what you are doing and that is leaps and bounds a huge plus sign for me. Keep up the good work and I will patiently wait for things to come in. Kudos for the tip to reimport metadata per system. I was actually looking for that and couldn't find it.
  9. Is there a way to set a single image as a system back ground for the system and then use the same image for the game list back ground? The reason I ask is that the scrapping method so far with launchbox/bigbox is not picking up a lot of things. It really surprises me how much is missing. Also is there anyway to bring over my Hyperspin images into Bigbox for cart and videos for the stuff that isnt being picked up? I noticed the naming conventions are different between the two even when using a no-intro rom set.
