hi thanks for your help i see now i thought you could see all the games at the bottom of the screen like in the above picture i have managed to get this if it is right thanks again for your help

many thanks for your reply i done a print screen what i am looking at it says over 4,000 but it is only showing about 7 i have used the arrow keys but it seems to be operating the wheel more than the games , if i click on a game and put enter it will open up to play the game , if i use the right or left arrow keys it will go along but only sees about 7 games and not the full amount of over 4,000 , i am getting there slowly but its just trying to understand how launchbox works , i have started my wii collection and found the metadata all though only 1 game at the moment but i got alot to go through thanks

hi we have updated launchbox to 6.2 when going into bigbox mode it says eg mame games 4,000 but it is only showing 7 , i have told it to show hidden games which made no difference the only way i can see all games is if i tell it to show list view , if i use the arrow keys it moves the wheel to the next emulator but it does not show all games , should it be like this in bigbox mode thanks

many thanks for your reply i have looked around and used wiibackup manger to convet to wbfs , imported into launchbox useing dolphin as emulator but when launchbox imports it sees it as a file name and not the name of the game thanks

hi many thanks for your reply allthough i am abit confused why you said about modding the wii console , what i am asking is can i add wii games to launchbox as in importing from disc or do i have to rip the disc first before importing to launchbox thanks

hi we have had a look at this and woundered if we can add our wii games as we have alot of disc, would we have to rip the disc first or just import from disc to launchbox thanks

many thanks for your reply, i am sure someone advised me before to look for non intro and tosec before when i had problems with mame , what would you suggest to get a system like the lauchbox videos i have seen with different game systems , thanks

hi i have found a non intro tosec version for amiga commodore size is 32gb but all though i have download it how would i incorporate this into launchbox so i can play the games thanks

hi thankyou for clarifying the issue , i have gone to add screenshot and refresh images but still is blank all though the screenshots are there, i will wait for the Image system and hope fully it will help out thanks again for your help and advice

hi thanks for your reply ok i will try and explaine , i have got life sub with emumovies so i could get more data for the games i have got now all images are in the correct folder , as there are some games with images attached and some are not , with the games that have no images i am going to edit game and choose a image that it says in the screenshot and select ok after i select ok the game refesh still with no image all though the image is there in the screenshot selection , we have got around 4,000 mame games with images in the selection tab i am just woundering why the image is not showing all though the images are in the same folder as the rest , i dont understand why some are showing and some are not thanks

hi i am using mame 173 split set with mame 174 emulator , i just bought launchbox and emumovies but when i tell it to find all the data for my games it does seem to download what it finds but when i tell it to use a image for a game after it does a refresh the game icon is still blank all though it has download the images for the covers , is there anyway i can sort this out apart from removing the games that has no cover thanks

hi jason thanks for your email i sent you a pm , just 1 think i dont understand is that all though i have a license now i have joined emumovies to get the metadata for all my mame games , the pictures are not showing allthough they are there in the download folder , if i edit a game and choose the image i want it still turns out blank even after refresh , i have even got the pictures from launchbox as well still no image showing on the game , any thoughts on how to get the image to show thanks again for your help and advice

thanks for your replys ,with the video option it seems that it is only avalible if you buy launchbox and not the free version , if i edit a game and tell it to download images click on the screenshot i want to show click ok after refresh it still comes out blank all though all the metadata is there so even if i edit the game and use a scrrenshot the image still does no show thanks

thanks for your reply yes i configure LB with my EmuMovies user name and password, i am not sure if it is just 1 video or video type as it is getting various videos etc from emumovies, after it has finished downloading will everything appear like video etc as i have only got the free version of launchbox thanks

many thanks for your reply , i followed the video step by step and even put in skip_gameinfo -nowindow so i dont understand why i am getting this error in launchbox , i have put all the roms in mame rom folder and told mame where they are and what emulator to use i am using mameuifx64_0174_1 emulator with split set 173 roms, what i have done now was to take out skip_gameinfo -nowindow from the emulator rescan roms to mame now they will play from launchbox, but with certain games getting another error or says about missing files allthough it was suppose to be a full split set , now with the pictures how do you get the missing pictures do i have to search google and copy over to des picture folder just woundering as there are over 4,000 games i will have to go through thanks

many thanks for your advice , i have imported some games into launchbox if i right click a game it comes up with a error eg: unknown system skip_gameinfo but if i tell the game to open in mame it will play the game , am i using the wrong emulator for mame ? will retroarch play all games eg: amiga , spectrum etc ? can launchbox actually play the games ? thanks

many thanks for your replys ok i have imported games with launchbox when i tell launchbox to play the game none will load all though i am using mame 173 split set and mame 173 emulator but the mame emulator is not MAMEUI or MAMEUIFX, i have noticed that mame 174 is out but again would it work as no luck at the moment thanks

hi thanks for your reply in the Tutorial they are using mame or retroarch but i dont think it says what mame emulator they are using in the video , this is where i might be going wrong as i was advised to get the same version of emulator for the same version of roms , i am trying to see why the games are not running , thanks

hi i am trying to get my mame games running,uninstalled bitdefender and installed launchbox with no problems i have got a split set of mame 173 with emulator for 173, when i am looking at the LaunchBox Tutorial half way through it says about retroarch , do i need retroarch to play mame games ? as i am trying to follow the video step by step thanks

thank you for your help and advice , i have now taken of bitdefender so i have just got windows defender and malwaresbytes pro , i have managed to install launchbox with no issues , the problem i face now is getting the games to work i will check out the videos you have and try and do what the video says but as i have got a split pack of mame 173 and using mame 173 emulator i dont understand why the games are not working if you import them through launchbox, as when i open a game in launchbox and then tell it to open mame it says there is no bios on this machine so i am thinking is this why the games are not working all though split pack 173 is suppose to have bios as well thanks

thanks for your reply , in post 14 it says add roms to rom folder in which i have done with bios and the games still will not load , i am a bit concerned about uninstall Bitdefender as i was hacked before , i have had several internet security products and some are better than others , i done a scan on launchbox with bitdefender and malwarebytes pro but nothing was found but when i try and install it bitdefender does not like it one bit , i dont know if adding destination folder for launchbox will help as just trying to install causes problems thanks
