many thanks for your reply, i have now done my pc to 64bit , but having problems finding a split pack for mame the one i dl last was a torrent at 52gb and it seems that again i got hold of the wrong file , i can find No-Intro and TOSEC but again not sure if i would be downloading the correct files thanks

hi thanks for your replys , the pc was windows 7 but not sure what bit so i thought i would upgrade to windows 10 but it seems that the pc was 64bit and not 32bit , with regards to games all the games are on a external hard drive the only way i know is to completely fomat windows and reinstall , with regards to torrents the reason why i dont use them is when i d/l a movie that i wanted it was not the movie that i thought it was instead it was xxx i was not imprested .so i dont use torrent for this and it can take a long time to d/l , i did try a link that was pm me by another member but it said it would take around 3 days to d/l then you have to up load as well , we are on fibre optic 40mb so we thought 3 days or so was to long , thanks

hi many thanks for your replys , oh dear i have to reset the pc ? with regards to finding mame packs i have searched around and seen different sites , when i click on a link to d/l it either says the file is to big or out of memory ? i was given a couple of sites by pm but i dont do torrent files , what i would like is to make a full entertainment system on kodi which i have mabe a build on but without games , so i am intrested on how it is done but i would like the games on the submenu not just on the main menu through bigbox , i have searched other sites but could not find a full complete pack thanks

hi many thanks for your reply the system we are emulating is mame, pc specs, windows 10 32bit amd a463000 cpu hd graphics 3.70ghz , ram 8gb. retroarch version is 1.3.4 , launchbox version is 5.10 thanks

hi thanks for your reply , i can make a kodi build but it is the games i would like as well on the build , with regards to RetroArch i have tried to download it and every time when i try and unzip with 7zip it comes up with errors

hi many thanks for your reply , when i saw a video on youtube about launchbox in kodi it looks good , so i have tried to do and understand how to do things , with regards to Retroarch i have no idea how to even set it up or what it does . with regards to kodi what i would like is some games going through to kodi so it will look like a full entertainment system , i have tried advance launcher and rom browser but no luck , may i ask what would you do ? to get games working through kodi .thanks again for your help and advice

many thanks for your reply , we regards to the bios i noticed that some where red and yellow so i dont expect they work , what version of bios would i need ? would it be advisable to try and find the roms that are missing items so i will have a full set or would it be best to upgrade to 162 thanks

hi many thanks for your replys with the bios i am not sure that it is the correct bios all i found was mame32 bios all , with regards to mameuifx all i can find is 173 lol , i had a look at a site that had older versions but could not download , is there a version that would work for mame 161 , when i can find mameuifx does it tell you if the game needs chd as this is one of the problems , another is mame is saying no bios or not dumped correct etc , i would like to say that this has been a experince i thought it was going to be easy lol thanks

many thanks for your replys , i have gone with mame0161b and mane 161 roms all bios and roms are in rom folder , but still having problems with games not loading saying missing chd or rom files so a bit unsure what to do next it looks so easy to do ?? thanks

many thanks for your reply i am importing as arcade , i cannot see a complete set for 173 , would it work if i upgraded from 161 to 173 as i can get these but i cannot see a set for 173 , if i upgraded do you just over right the orignal files ? thanks

hi many thanks for your reply ok i have moved it all to the roms folder in mame0173b , using mame_0.161_ROMs , i have imported them in launchbox tested some games , some work and some do not , a lot come up with a error saying the game has not been dumped correctly but it still seems to work but not played the game just tested to see if it would load , a lot has no pictures , thanks

many thanks for all your reply the rom set i have got is mame 0.161 ROMs and using mame0173b and even mame0161b still no luck , i have got neogeo.zip in the set i download , even if i load the games into launchbox and then use mame0161b to play i get error saying about missing chd files? all though the download was 52gb , if i try and play with mame0173b i get no bios on system i did find this Mame 32 plus bios all, and tried these but no luck , thanks

many thanks for your reply i have used mame0173b with mame 0.161 set , i downloaded 29.500 files after importing to launchbox i got 2,700 games but not one game will work it says in mame aboit missing bios thanks

hi many thanks for your reply , i had a look at the video and it looks different from the one i am using , i have download a set and extracting them with 7.zip so far it has found 25.000 items and still going , do i put these in launchbox or mame as i am not sure how to use the importer on the mame version i have thanks
