I’m also having something kind of similar. I’m ruining BigBox 8.5 and have noticed sometimes the back button doesn’t work and as a result I am stuck in the game launcher screen. I still have control of the joystick but when I click to back out of the screen it makes the sound effect and looks like it’s about to go back to the platform screen but doesn’t preform it. I’m using a Tankstick as well. So, its setup through keyboard on BigBox. Also, when I exit from BigBox and open BigBox again, the issue is resolved. It seems to only happen when I enter a game and go into view manuals or pictures on the game and then exit it will sometimes happen then. After this I can’t exit from the game to go back to the full platform game list. This did happen while using Launchbox and has happened since I have started using Launchbox.Next as well. Again, this is only when in Bigbox and havent seen any issues while using Launchbox or Launchbox.Next.

Yeah Mame and RetroArch are extremely straight forward to setup and everything else can be easily setup using the AHK Scripts provided on that thread. Cheers Reto808...

Hi Ken, you can reprogram the default keys to other keyboard keys with the X-Arcade. It’s easy enough to do but to be honest I just used AHK Scripts for all my emulators. Using RetroArch along with AHK Scripts took me all of 15 minutes and that’s setting AHK Scripts for 30+ systems in LaunchBox. https://support.xgaming.com/support/solutions/articles/12000003090-x-arcade-programming-guide The link shows how to remap keys for the X-Arcade. You could re-map some of the default keys on the X-Arcade (alt-left, shift-left and ctrl-left) to the likes of Esc key. These keys aren’t the friendliest in some emulators and can cause major frustration when setting up on certain emulators. Personally myself, I was just to lazy to do the latter. AHK Scripts is much less work. They are also all over the forms and if needed I can provide the ones I use.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with not LaunchBox 8.3 not saving any of the command lines I enter each time for Associated Platforms - Command Line Parameters. Each time I try and enter a command line in this tab for an emulator I press ok to save and if I go back into the Associated Platforms - Command Line Parameters my command that I just typed is gone for some reason. Just wondering if anyone might have any ideas on why this is happening. Recently just started using RetroArch and been setting up emulators. Yet the emulators will run using the core drop box on each platform on Associated Platforms. Any help on this would be great.
