  1. Hi, much appreciated. I give that a go over the next few days. If only I could launch individual games from launchbox, at the moment regardless of what I launch I just get the main AAE menu. I have this working fine in Rocketlauncher, I took a look at their module thinking I might see a switch I could replicate in the LB config but I couldn't understand any of it Thanks again Steven
  2. Hi, sounds good. I'm not sure how to " Make it detect the process so it only takes over joystick control when AAE is running. " Can you give me any advice on that setup please Cheers Steven

    Renaming Platforms

Hi, sorry about not updating sooner - does this mean it's a known issue & there's not much I can do at the moment? Cheers Steven

    Renaming Platforms

Hi Brad, thanks for the reply. Yes, that's basically it. I rename the platform it & all seems well but after a restart things don't seem as good. I've attached a few screen grabs, before/renamed/after restart. Maybe I'm just missing an important step or check box. What do you think? Also, as I've mentioned - after renaming the Genesis/Megadrive platform dissappears from BigBox (until I refresh the image cache) Thanks again Steven
  5. Hi Can anyone shed some light on what I'm doing wrong here...... I'm trying to rename a few platforms e.g. Sega Genesis to Sega Megadrive - this is what I'm doing............ Tools>Manage Platforms Select Sega Genesis from the list>click edit and change the text Sega Genesis to Sega Megadrive (keeping the 'Scape As' to Genesis)>Click OK>Close All good, the platform name changes to Megadrive. Launch Bigbox.............The Genesis/Megadrive platform is missing! If I refresh the images cache it will return - all good. Returning the Launchbox I can now see that the previously rename Sega Megadrive has reverted to Sega Genesis. No mention of the Megadrive in the platform list yet if I look in the 'manage platforms' again I can see both platforms listed. What am I doing wrong? Cheers Steven
  6. Hi, thanks for the reply. Like you I have a fairly decent setup on HS and as such I have everything setup in RL. When I first seen the option I was impressed... however, it just didn't seem to work properly for NeoGeo (for me anyway) Anyway - thanks again for the interest All the best Steven

    Changing Emulator

Good evening guys, just a quick one... is there anyway I can change what emulator is associated with each platform? I.e. I have the Game Boy setup using Retroarch but if I wanted to change that to use VisualBoyAdvance instead... is this possible (without going through the ROM import process?) I've taken a look at the Manage Platforms but can't see anything there. I suppose and reimport the system again via RocketLauncher, therefore giving me the option to change emulators (but I'd rather not ) Cheers Steven
  9. Hi Jason, thanks for the reply. I've done a bit of messing about about and decided your option is the probably the best. Great product btw Thanks again Steven
  10. 'Evening everyone ..... I just joined the party recently, I have a fairly good HS setup but I'm moving shop over to Launchbox, anyway - I've seen the RL integration and it looks like it could be very useful, however, I've tried a few things...... I've tried to add NeoGeo - the ROMS are abbreviated with their file names e.g. aof is Art of Fighting, mslug is Metal Slug etc etc. Rocket Launcher sorts all this for me, I can see everything listed & named correctly within RL but whenever I import the ROM's into Launchbox via RL they only import as their file names meaning any graphic match etc fails. However, if I import the ROM's as per normal via Launchbox everything appears file - the games are named correctly under their platform. Am I doing something wrong here? Cheers Steven

    Removing Games

Hi guys, I've added a few systems/platforms but my ROMS folder had Eur/Jap/US releases and I've ended up with several versions of each game listed seperately. I've removed the ones I don't want into another folder so........ besides manually deleting each game from the front end or reimporting the ROM's folder is there anyway I can just do a 'quick refresh' to reflect any changes I've made to the ROM's folder. Cheers Steven
