no, unfortunately the videos won't appear even after a longer waiting period. they just "crash" immediately after beginning playback. did not test manual playback, yet.

thanks for your effort, jason. but the problem still exists in the newest beta: back on 7.10 there is no video crashing at all.

I only have problems in Big Box mode when playing videos in beta. 7.10 worked fine.

@Jason Carr thanks for your reply. I tried rolling back to 7.10 now and that fixed the playback issues completely. Will stay on the stable update channel, I guess. There is definitely something wrong with video playback on the beta. best wishes!

it now loads most videos, but crashes on a third of them in the first second of playback. when going up/down and selecting the game again the movie plays fine in background. never had this with previous versions of big box/launchbox.

videos in big box do not play after a second for almost 50% of the videos. they just stop after a second and black out.

ok, good to know. if he is the only one then I guess he is more than busy with bug fixing. my issue is not that important that I should mail him directly. I opened a support ticket and will see if he finds the time to read it. best wishes!

your hint fixed it. somehow the beta-update forgot to transfer that specific setting. I would like to transfer everything EXCEPT GameCube and PS2 to my USB thumb drive. how do I do that? Just copy everything except those two system folders to the thumb drive? does launchbox recognize the folders are missing and therefore not show them then? Or does it show them and crash when trying to access (because the folders/systems are not there)? best wishes!

I noticed that after updating to the beta the wheel logos for the platform disappeared. is that coming back?

yes, it is definitely a bug. I cannot tag all the 500 games manually. it works when doing so. but fails using the auto-tagger or TOOLS-metadata method.

The videos are not downloaded, but skipped. When EDITing a single game,the corresponding emumovies mp4 video loads fine. but when editing many games at once, most games are skipped and no video is added.

Hi @ all, when buying premium I assume that my name is automatically shown in the "registered to...." field. Is it possible to get a "cool" name there? I do not like my name as much as "Super Mario" or something else. Would be cool, I think. Best wishes!

hi @ all, I just found out that VisualBoyAdvance can not display aspect ratio when fullscreen. So I wanted to switch it for mGBA. but using "standard emulator" setting in "tools" does not work. do I really have to rescrape everything again just for that setting? best wishes!
