Please guy I have the boys coming down for a night gaming and would love to show them it running.now I have two system out of nine working ,now I don't have any as Launchbox is crashing .anybody help .im a Carpetfitter but I'm learning every day as we all are,some like me have a long way to go but I'm trying and not giving in .could somebody take the time to help please I am a life time member and love my Tec so I'll be here for years help me so I can help others please

Thanks dos76 I thought it was setup like that before.im having a lot of trouble with my systems .trying to find someone to help walk me through the issues I'm having been doing all the tutorials .

Hi everyone.im having this issue,once I point to my rom in tools,select all the right paths and then scans for roms for the platform .i notice that if game fails to run and I right click and select edit .under emulator there isn't any selected.even though when I first pointed to the roms launch box does ask what platform is it for and suggests a emulator and point to that it seems fine .its just once I goto play the platform.i have to select the emulator for each game in the platform again

my pc x64 and I'm clicking that file. its downloading running security scan then say run I click run states set up I then restart pc,open launchbox click ps2 and I get these messages about msvcp140.dll again.i am doing that right .is that right

hi folks this is were I'm sitting at the moment I had a system popup saying MSVCP149.DLL was missing and as you see in the screen shot it is located three icons below Spotify icon .am I ment to save this somwere as still cant get some system running .

I only have nine systems and can only get two working after I changed the internal hard drive as it was slowing the pc down stuck a ssd in it and the pc runs a lot faster .so trying to continue to build launchbox on my external gaming drive .but 7 gaming systems arnt working.im getting retroarch running outside lunchbox.i have updated it and still cant get it to open in launchbox for any of my systems.

any chance in letting me know how I find out whats wrong with my arcade system setup.i have tried all the versions of the mame that I had stored on my external drive.it opens then just shuts straight away.

thanks I have learnt getting this done just by watching the youtube launchbox tutorial,and guys like james baker,simply auston.learning visually seem to work best for me.thanks again for the help

well the thing is when I do quick searches and think I'm getting the right file .I end up downloading the wrong things or malware,spam,all the stuff I try and stay away from .The way I see it is its like every day is a learning day and having guys and girls like yourselfs here . Are how non pc literate folk like myself learn .

well thanks for filling me in.i have been trying to build my setup for months and found my drive was slowing this pc down .I'm looking to get this drive back to goodness and I can plug it into my gaming rig . I understand if you don't reply but I hope you don't mind if I keep posting all these issues as you telling me whats wrong far outweighs me guessing .thanks this is the setup the now

I don't have many systems, but would love to get these all working again it also looks like I have messed up my mame cant remember what version was working with my setup.is there a easy way to tell what emulator version my roms use. I have tried 1.38b 153,159,164,178b,and it opens and shuts down within one second ahh.
