Beta 4 is, for some reason, crashing halfway through the update and even during a clean installation while beta 3 installs fine.

@UplinkI did do it in the past but users were reporting different hash values than what was in the DATs, even though they converted the same roms i had and used the same program to convert them to chd that I used. I think different versions of chdman create different hash values so I stopped making chd DATs as a result. It would explain why there's no official/unofficial chd DATs anywhere as well.- 84 comments

Yeah I see they use the no-intro custom RVZ set instead of the redump set. I can build a DAT from that set but its not as popular/easy to find as official redump sets.

@BioHazZzard @Odio and everyone else who wants an RVZ DAT, if I were to make a RVZ DAT, which option would you suggest I build the DAT from? Convert Redump-approved GC ISOs to the default RVZ settings in Dolphin (Block Size - 128KB, Compression Type - ZStandard, Compression Level - 5) and put those RVZ file hashes into the DAT OR Build it from the custom DAT on the No-Intro website as the base.

Oh wow. Thanks @Clutz450. Even I didn't know about that. In that case, If LB ever adds RVZ support to cheevo detection, I'll definitely make a RVZ DAT then.

@Odio Sadly, the DAT will only support ISO for 3 reasons: Launchbox doesn't detect cheevos for RVZ format, only ISO. The official Redump DAT uses ISO, not RVZ. RVZ has the same issue as CHD with DATs. The file hash values are different, depending on the conversion settings used in Dolphin (Block size and compression level), so you would need RVZ files created with the same settings as what's in the DAT to prevent false results which can become a drag. Therefore, I won't be doing a RVZ DAT and I recommend using the DAT to scan Redump ISOs and once you confirm that they are all correct, use Dolphin to convert them manually.

Hey guys. BigBox isn't starting in the latest beta. I double click it, it opens in task manager for a second or 2 and then closes. I tried reinstalling in a new directory and same problem. I'm running windows defender and even with all settings disabled, the same problem happens. I'll try reinstalling previous version and see if it works.
