  1. i just don't get why posts like this aren't taken seriously...the performance is really bad for launchbox/bigbox when you compare it to other frontends, like emulationstation for example.... this frontend could really use a performance overhaul and it's really discouraging to see the "well it works fine for me, so it's an issue with your rtx 3080 and i7 13000 modern pc..." like, enough of that, it doesn't help anyone, it's obvious that the performance is bad for enough users, i wish it would get looked at seriously
  2. funny enough this is happening to me with WMP, going to try vlc
  3. awesome, thanks sad we have to do this lol
  4. when you say scheduled task, are you using something like autohotkey? or some kind of scripting app, i don't see an option to kill a program in windows task scheduler
  5. i have the same issue, why isn't this more well documented, like what are people doing that they're not encountering this! but, what time do you run these, what if you're in the middle of playing a game?
  6. why does this happen? everytime i've tried to leave bigbox running in the background, after a couple of the days the memory usage will just be kind of nutty i'm surprised there aren't more threads about this, either people aren't leaving it running or i'm doing something wrong i really would like to get to the bottom of the this, but have no clue what would be causing it this is just after a day of running (launchbox also starts becoming a memory hog after a couple of hours) why do these apps use so much memory?
  7. got this setup with pcsx2 1.4.0. everythings works fine, just wondering if it's expected behavior for the program/game to close (when i hit esc), but pcsx2 windows stays open and the launchboxpcs2x icon stays as a "ghost" in the taskbar tray.... anyway, thanks for making this
