  1. @Lordmonkus I'm a little late to the party, like 2 years, but are there any recommended updates to this excellent guide since we've moved to version 1.8.8 of Retroarch? I don't know if there are any significant changes between the version you used for illustrative purposes and the current iteration. Thanks for all you contribute to the emulation community and for your response to my inquiry. Cheers!
  2. Cool. I'll try that when I get home. Thanks for such a quick reply!
  3. That makes sense. The roms in the NoFiller folder will be duplicates of roms already in the larger MAME folder. Is there any way to import those roms without creating a duplicate entry in the main Arcade playlist?
  4. So, I have a full, non-merged, MAME set that I have imported into LB with no issues. For example sake, let's say my MAME rom folder is D:\ROMS\MAME. I had a folder inside that folder titled "NoFiller" that I want to utilize as a playlist. When I create a playlist, I select Platform>is equal to>Arcade and then Application/Rom Path>is equal to>NoFiller. I've also tried "contains" in place of "is equal to" in the Application/Rom Path option. The playlist is created, but it is not populated with the games inside the "NoFiller" folder. I'm sure I'm missing a simple step, but not sure what it is. Any thoughts? I do have both rom paths listed in the opening in my mame.ini, if that matters. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
  5. Just a couple quick questions (that may have already been answered, but couldn't find it via search), I'm in the process of setting up a cab with a rotatable 19" 16:9 LCD and was curious if the bezels will still appear on the sides if the monitor is in the vertical/portrait orientation? If so, how much of my already narrow screen horizontally will I lose? is it recommended to keep the bezels when in portrait mode? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer or pointers for me with this endeavor!
  6. I know it's been a minute since this thread has been active, but I'm having some issues populating the games list and launching them from within KODI. I can't see the games from three different platforms although they work as intended from withing BigBox. I'm sure it's a simple configuration issue, but I don't have any idea where to start. I'd love to see this add-on utilized to its full potential, so what info can I provide to help get down to the root of this cause? Thanks for this tool and expect a donation in the future if I can get things working as intended!
