  1. Oh! Doing that made a lot of the images show up once again. 😃 I tried it with the Arcade platform first, since for that one, all I ever use is the front view of the advertising flyers. I noticed that before changing it, LaunchBox was displaying the full path to the folder in question starting from the root C drive, like: C:\Users\Homer64\My Documents\LaunchBox\Images\Arcade\Advertisement Flyer - Front but once I re-selected it, it displayed it as: Images\Arcade\Advertisement Flyer - Front I confirmed the platforms with the missing images all display a path starting at the C drive.
  2. When I select Edit, there is no images there, even though the images are in their respective folder(s) for that platform/image-type. In the left panel, it makes no difference what I've selected. But I've always used Platform Category. It's happening in several platforms.
  3. Thank you for the response. I went over every point as suggested. Nothing seems to be wrong with any of that. I am able to add a game's image manually, refresh, and not have it disappear. I still have no idea why it happened. I am dreading having to add each image manually, once again. 😬
  4. Hello all, I'm running the latest version of LB 13.24. Yesterday, I was playing with the UI slider to make the images look a bit smaller. Usually they flash and then they reload. This time some didn't. O_o I have tried refreshing the images both by selecting all of them together and individually but nothing. I also made sure all the media (images ) are in their respective folders. Nothing is missing, They simply fail to load. Both on the front end and also when editing the game's edit media and metadata section. It's weird because some platforms now only show banners, while others have nothing. I have not tried to re-download or to add them manually all over again as I'm hoping maybe there is an easier and less time consuming way of fixing the issue. My guess is that is has something to do with the refreshing of the media DB because I usually see a red progress bar at the top when switching between platforms, but this time it doesn't do that all the time. Any help would be appreciated. 🤗
  5. It was running in compatibility mode. 🤦‍♂️
  6. Any of you guys encountered this error? Launchbox runs perfectly fine on my Win10 Pro system. Has for years. But now when I try to update the program to 13.22 I get this error prompt.
  7. For me this just started happening today after the latest Windows update on Windows 10. I had to change the application's properties to run in compatibility mode with Windows Vista in order for it to work again.🙄
  8. That worked! You were right. LunchBox folder inside the original LaunBox folder. Thanks a million. I thought I was going to spend weeks fixing all my custom stuff O_O
  9. I'm in a bit of a very frustrating pickle. Earlier today, I saw the new update (13.14) was available. I updated but ran into a problem. Can't remember what it was but basically I had to stop the installation due to the error. it's weird because this never happens. I tried to run LaunchBox again but no matter what I did, the program did not start. Not even after several PC restarts. I then figure, hey, why don't I just redownload the app and reinstall it manually. Bad idea. Unfortunately doing that removed my configuration including the back ups... unless I am missing something and there is another way to restore from disk where the previous install was? Then I remembered, Hey, maybe my configuration is saved on the LB cloud? And it seem it is! But now I'm afraid to sync to it because I don't know if doing so it's going to sync my local config to the cloud and also erase that. So, can anyone can help? O_O Thanks in advance.
  10. Weird right? Oh well, I'll keep fidgin' with it. If I figure out why is not working I'll update here.
  11. Hello again Lordmonkus of the high order of seemingly angry avatar chimps, I was trying to get Last Batallion working but can't seem to get it to boot using the cmd file with: px68k "I:\LaunchBox\Games\Sharp_X68000\Last Batallion (1991)\Last Batallion (1991)(Sting)(Disk 1 of 2).dim" "I:\LaunchBox\Games\Sharp_X68000\Last Batallion (1991)\Last Batallion (1991)(Sting)(Disk 2 of 2).dim" It boots the first disk if I point to that path individualy, but not if using the cmd file method. Have you had any luck?
  12. Aha! the path to the roms folder needed to have no names with spaces. Replaced space with an "_" and now it works.
