I'm seeing quite a few threads appearing for this issue but as yet i have seen no official word from the developers. Seems like a pretty wide spread problem that isn't being addressed.

In addition to playing audio but no video until i pause then unpause the video in Launchbox, it also very rarely will play the video only in the top left quarter of the box meant for the video. It scales the whole video to fit in the top left quarter. Again if i pause and unpause it goes back to playing at normal size.

I feel this could be related to the issues i have in launchbox with videos playing but remaining black. There seems to be a real problem with video playback in both launchbox and big box that is very difficult to replicate, and when you have the problem it only happens about 50% of the time (for me at least). My setup has worked fine for weeks, and the only thing i have changed are more games added, so i have no idea why i have started having video problems.

I realise this is a very old topic, but i am having exactly the same issue now. When i do a bulk metadata download it downloads a few theme videos even though i unticked that, and doesn't download any hd videos that was ticked. Did this ever get resolved and if so how do i fix it please?

Hi there. Hope someone can help. I have turned off the game music within Launchbox, but whenever i start a game i get 1 second of the game music playing then it stops. The game loads normally and the game sound is then normal. This happens every time i start any game that has music downloaded for it.
