I updated LaunchBox this morning, 8.4-beta-17, and I thought I would see if it would grab Steam videos etc. I set Launchbox on its merry way looking for metadata for ALL. Then I heard a strange sound and Windows said they'd been a hard disk failure. To say I shat myself would be an understatement. I had bought a 2TB just for LaunchBox and I was gutted. I took my laptop apart and swapped my old 1TB for the 2TB and put that in an external caddy. When I rebooted, Windows checked the drive and tried to repair it. It seems to have worked as I can access it and see everything. Be careful out there! Jeezuz

Just saw this thread. I'm having the same problems. I thought I might have messed with the setting but, no, nothing. I get all the artwork, just no videos

Last one! I have LaunchBox searching only for Steam videos. 4 cores and 8 threads and she (I think of LaunchBox as a she) hogs just the one!

I've just sat and watched Process Explorer for a minute or two (sad twat I know . The whole laptop was using just over 2% CPU, of which LaunchBox was using 1%. Just checked again before posting this: Still 1.10%. It's no big deal; earlier I was shocked at the CPU usage. Cheers

I guess I do have a lot of games Oh!...LaunchBox has stopped downloading videos for newly added games. I've made sure the box is ticked etc. Nothing has worked. I get all screenshots, boxart etc, but no video. Odd

This latest build is certainly using a lot of my CPU. I don't remember other builds being so greedy Am I alone in noticing this? Using a laptop with an i7 7700hq and Nvidia 1060 6GB, 16GB mem.

I'm sorry if my post implied that I was having problems with LaunchBox with the new Windows update. LaunchBox is fine. I am getting Random freezes and black screens that effect the whole desktop. Mouse pointer can still be moved around though; which is weird.

I'm having black screens and freezes with the April update. Was thinking about reverting back until things have been fixed.
