DOS76
I finally setup RetroArch this morning and I have to say that with your tutorial that it was beyond simple so far I have SNES and Game Boy Advance working. I haven't setup the controllers yet (I have to leave to take my uncle to chemo in a few minutes so I will have to tinker later. I'm just amazed that something that I've been dreading and thinking wasn't worth the effort worked so quickly. It is crazy that they use X and Z that is so unintuitive (which turns out isn't an actual word but should definitely be one) who would figure that out. Anyway thanks for the lesson Jason. SentaiBrad
If you have a 360 / PS3 / PS4 controller plugged in (the PS3 and PS4 would essentially be "emulated" 360 pads with the software), it should find it automatically and it is a bit more intuitive. I have more tutorials up dealing with RA on the channel, and one for Sega Saturn is going up this Friday. Even if the cores / systems aren't your cup of tea, they all have stuff in them that can be useful in other systems. For example PS1 and Saturn are super similar. flylear45
I don't know if it's on here but Retropie (which is AWESOME on a Pi2 BTW) has a graphic mapping of all types of controllers and how they are best mapped as a Retropad in Retroarch. I found it helpful. https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroArch-Configuration
